Antares or the "Scorpions Heart" is a marauder styled GoI with the goal of expanding its reach in the anomalous underground world by the creation of anomalous drugs and the collection and biding of anomalies. The group's higher-ups are influenced by a mysterious ancient alien vessel stuck inside a black hole located somewhere near the core of the Andromeda Galaxy. This project is my biggest yet and will include multiple articles involving RPC's and tales.

Formed around 1962, after the discovery of ET-008-A-014 and the multiple attempts to send transmissions towards the object; Blue Book researchers grew close to insanity due to ET-008-A-014 memetic effects which affected the ideology of the researchers to obsess over this object. The researchers would be classified as rouge and sentenced to termination but before termination, the facility suffered from a minor containment breach and the researchers were able to slip out of the facility and fled to rural mid-western United States.

The researchers were able to sell information about Blue Book activities to buyers and build up their budget. Slowly hiring private military contractors and construction contractors to construct safehouses underground and guards for the newly constructed safehouses. In the present day, the Antares is a major group of interest in the anomalous underground and operates in several large facilities and smaller outposts around North America and Europe. The organization is divided into three branches.

Orion's Shield

Responsible for the defense of Antares and the anomalies it claims; Orion's Shield is the protection division which includes Anomaly Apprehension Teams, Facility Defense Teams, and New Frontier Expedition Squads. Anomaly Apprehension Teams are responsible for the raids on Blue Book, Authority and any other anomalous organization facilities; equipped with stolen Blue Book technology and various anomalies. The Facility Defense Teams is responsible for the defense of Antares facilities and the anomalies it claims. The New Frontier Expedition Squads are responsible for the exploration of space, discovery, and recon of facilities in space.

Cepheus Explorer's

The brains of Antares and the ones that make sure the organization knows how to use the anomaly.
Probably the favorited branch of the Gemini Cepheus and the most funded with operating groundbreaking Authority research equipment and Blue Book samples. The Cepheus Explorer's are divided into three smaller branches such as drug production, submission, and discovery.

Cepheus

The administrative branch of Antares and the ones responsible for the other three branches. The higher ups of the branch are the ones which have information on ET-008-A-014 and the ones influenced the most by the anomaly. The rest of the organization have little to no knowledge of the anomaly. Cepheus is divided into three smaller branches such as the financial branch which is in charge of the anomaly trade and drug trade, the administration which is in charge of the decisions of the group and relations with other groups of interest, and finally containment which is responsible for the containment of the anomalies which are taken by Antares. Construction of containment chambers, facilities, and even rockets to reach Blue Book space facilities.

The RPC Authority

The Authority is not the main priority target in the eyes of Antares but is mentioned from time to time when involving extraterrestrial anomalies or drug enhancement anomalies. The Authority should be avoided unless told otherwise and any other action against them without authorization from the Gemini Cepheus will result in termination. The Authority is highly funded and highly skilled in its acquisition of anomalies and the containment of anomalies.

Project Blue Book

Not much can be said about Blue Book in the eyes of Antares; they are against Antares in every way and are the main priority of attack. Blue Book operatives shall be handled as told; capture, interrogation, and termination. Operatives may also be shot on sight due to Blue Book's rules of engagement when it comes to Antares operatives. Technologically superior but reckless in its use of its anomalies.

Trespassers

Relations with the unorganized collective of cells called the Tresspasers vary around the cells we come in contact with; some cells can be friendly and supportive to the Antares cause with their hatred for the Authority and groups of interest involving the containment of anomalies. Hostile cells are hard to spot due to their unknown nature. The "group" can also be hired as scouts and guards.
