Registered Phenomena Code: 921
Object Class: Gamma-Red
Hazard Types: Aggression, Animated, Emotional, Ideological, Regenerative, Sapient, Transmutation
Containment Protocols: RPC-921 must be held inside a 2 meter x 2 meter x 2.5 meter lead-lined container. No contact is to be made with RPC-921 without a Level 4R clearance and all personnel are to keep a 20 meters distance away from the object.
Description: RPC-921 is a set of aged, carved stone armor dating to roughly the mid-200 A.D. with weathering and aging consistent with that period of time, as well of cultures and tribes of the time era. It consists of a mask, two pauldrons, two gauntlets, a chest piece, two cuisses and two sabatons. The mask has two eye sockets carved into it. When it is not worn, the armor alters the mindset of those nearby. RPC-921 forces an involuntary compulsion to wear the armor.
The armor activates when worn and the eye sockets will glow a yellow hue. After the activation, any missing armor plates/pieces will jump and cling onto the victim, now referred to RPC-921-1. A severe rapid and painful transformation happens to RPC-921-1, removing all skin from the body and increasing size and amount of blood vessels. The blood flow is also significantly increased, as to increase and improve metabolic processes. The brainwaves of RPC-921-1 are completely overridden by RPC-921, any attempt to find such previous brain waves is impossible.
RPC-921-1, interacts with humans unpredictably and often aggressively. It might simply outright kill them or use them as servants, be they weak-willed enough. RPC-921-1 is capable of forming lengthy veins, roughly 25 meters in length, which it uses as appendages and to drain humans of blood. It inserts its vein into the neck of the victims and slowly drains their blood. RPC-921-1 will also use these veins as crude whips, when it senses danger.
RPC-921-1's mass of veins can be used as a rudimentary muscle system. It can temporarily increase the mass of its veins and body parts. It has been capable of increasing its mass by 68 kg; its limit, however, is unknown. RPC-921-1 frequently uses this ability to attempt to escape. The room it is contained in must be repaired as necessary, to prevent an escape attempt.
RPC-921-1 might also use this ability to attack anything it perceives as hostile. It is unclear whether this system is connected to the preexisting muscular system of RPC-921-1, or is formed on its own.
Blood types (A+,B-,O-, etc.) absorbed by RPC-921-1, do not affect it in any negative way. It is unclear whether this is due to RPC-921's influence or some other undocumented effect of RPC-921. RPC-921-1 will actively seek out negative O blood types from any source. During testing, blood bags may be used as an alternative to live human subjects.
RPC-921 is immune to physical damage however, RPC-921-1 is not immune to damage. RPC-921-1 has been shown to take damage from any physical attack that is exposed and not covered by RPC-921. Incendiary weapons are effective in neutralizing RPC-921-1. RPC-921-1 will regenerate lost tissue over time. RPC-921-1 regenerates more rapidly, after consuming blood.
RPC-921 is quite intelligent and capable of showing memories of previous RPC-921-1 instances. It can solve complex puzzles in a relatively short period of time, and learns over time. Due to the nature of its memory, test subjects without knowledge of RPC-921's current holding facility or any other detrimental information must be used to prevent a breach in its containment. RPC-921 is capable of speaking several languages, including: English, Spanish, Latin and Portuguese.
Foreword: This Incident took place in RPC-921's discovery location, in South America. This event takes place before the Authority had proper awareness of the object's existence and the danger it posed. After the event, the Authority managed to contain the object, with a specialized team. A pedestal can be seen, with RPC-921 on it and in view. Two archeologists are heard approaching it.
<Begin Log>
████████: This must be the main chamber. Go check out what that is, sitting there.
██████: Okay. It looks like some kind of armor or something. It's really neat… I want to try it on.
████████: Why? It doesn't look too special to me, it was probably used for ritualistic purposes.
Archeologist ██████ then proceeds to wear the mask of RPC-921. Audible sounds of pain can be heard.
Archeologist ████████, panicked, runs out of the room.
████████: Oh god, oh god, why did he put it on? Oh god…
After running through the temple, Archeologist ████████ is then stopped by a collapsed tunnel. Footsteps can be heard.
████████: Who's there? ██████, is that you? Are you okay?
RPC-921-1: ████████, it's me. Don't you know who I am? That mask thing was pretty freaky, but I'm okay now.
Sounds of [REDACTED] and screaming can be heard, before the footage stops.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: After several hours of the Incident occurring, the Authority was notified and a team of MST was dispatched. RPC-921-1 was capable of injuring one MST member, before getting shot at with 5.56x45mm bullets. RPC-921-1 tried to flee from the MST team, but was swiftly dispatched and terminated by the MST team.
Interviewed: RPC-921, activated via Confined Subject (Disposable)-Number-2934.
Interviewer: Dr: █████████
Foreword: Interview takes place in a confined testing area, with a reinforced window, between Dr: █████████ and RPC-921-1.
<Begin Log>
Dr: █████████: So, 921, how are you doing this morning?
RPC-921: It would be better, not being stuck in here. Say, why are you even asking me how I am? I'm kept cooped up here and you think I'm doing okay?
Dr: █████████: Meant no harm by it, just trying to be civil.
RPC-921: Keep your civilities to yourself. You treat me like an object, I will be responded to as an object.
Dr: █████████: Very well. How would you describe your experience being confined in this facility?
RPC-921: Oh, great… just fantastic. I get to be cooped up in your stupid metal box every day, while you guys just hang around, watching, jotting things down. Pathetic. It's just not the same, Y'know? I could be outside, doing whatever I pleased or wanted to.
Dr: █████████: Understand that our procedures prevent you from exiting the facility.
RPC-921: Yeah, it was a pretty crappy attempt anyways… Say, do you have a family?
Dr: █████████: Excuse me? Uhm, well, yes, now that you mention it. Why do you ask?
RPC-921: I was just curious. I wanted to know if I should kill you or not, if I get to escape. That keeps things simple.
Dr: █████████: Right… I think we're done here today.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: RPC-921-1 was incinerated after the interview. RPC-921 is then placed into its containment chamber, with minimal incident.
Interviewed: RPC-921-1, activated via Confined Subject (Disposable)-Number-8237
Interviewer: Dr: █████████
Foreword: RPC-921 is contained in a testing area, with a steel door on its left side. Dr: █████████ is behind a reinforced testing window, observing RPC-921 in its active state.
<Begin Log>
Dr: █████████: Well, 921, how are you doing today?
RPC-921: Long time no see, doctor. What's with the door?
Dr: █████████: We are going to be conducting a test today.
RPC-921: A test? Oh, what kind of test?
Dr: █████████: You'll find out soon enough.
Dr: █████████ briefly leaves the room and can be heard talking in the distance.
RPC-921: Guessing that something is going to come out that door, yes?
Dr: █████████: Yes.
Confined Subject (Disposable)-Number-9386 walks out of the door, swearing under their breath.
Confined Subject-Number-9386: Okay, okay, I'm here, what do you want?
Dr: █████████ Please approach RPC-921.
Confined Subject Number-9386 slowly walks up to RPC-921-1 and slowly looks RPC-921-1 up and down.
Confined Subject-Number-9386: What the hell are you?
RPC-921: I would say a friend, but ah, where are my manners? How are you doing?
Confined Subject-Number-9386 squints at RPC-xxxx and draws back his head in a deep frown.
Confined Subject-Number-9386: Is this some kind of sick joke? How do I know you aren't just gonna kill me?
RPC-921: You don't have to trust me, but between you and me, I don't think you'll be getting out of here alive any time soon.
Confined Subject-Number-9386: Hmm. What can you do, then?
RPC-921: That's simple, I can use my body to bust down the door. Of course, I'll need your help to get me out of here.
Dr: █████████: RPC-921, any escape attempts will be met with swift and immediate termination. This is your only warning.
RPC-921: Ignore that doctor, he's just paranoid that I'll break out and steal the knowledge of someone who knows a lot about this place. So what do you say? Will you help me?
Confined Subject-Number-9386 briefly looks at the observation window and the door, before turning his eyes back to RPC-xxxx
Confined Subject-Number-9386: You got yourself a deal.
Dr: █████████: Prepare for the incineration of RPC-921-1 and termination of Subject-9386.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Confined Subject-9386 was terminated after exiting the door of the testing area. RPC-921-1 was then quickly incinerated by a MST team. RPC-921 was then placed into its containment area afterwards. Dr: █████████ notes possible difficulty in future tests with live humans and suggests postponing them until further notice.
Discovery: RPC-921 was discovered in an archeological dig-site, a temple in Argentina, ██████ █████, South America. It was successfully captured by the Authority, after Incident 1A.
