A wizard found themselves in an unfamiliar room after a group of men put a bag over his head. This is the first time this has happened to him, but he was calm all the same. He learned early on that being a wizard attracts the attention of those that would do this to him. Specifically, he knew that the Authority would come after him eventually.
He knew that these people were some of the most well-organized and professional kidnappers out there. The wizard pondered for a second, "resistance would be futile in this situation," he thought to himself. The Authority is more than well equipped and knowledgeable enough to have countermeasures to any spell he could cast at a moment's notice.
So calm and cooperative is what he would be, for now at the very least.
Once the bag was lifted from his head his suspicions were confirmed. Military-grade gear without any identifying marks, night-vision goggles on their helmets, full face masks, and very specialized weapons with exotic attachments. If they were Bluebook, the wizard knew he would be dead. Not being in the UK, they can't be MI13. And there are no other organizations that allow this much customizability for their soldiers.
The gag in the Wizard's mouth was released by a blindfolded man with a golden cross built into their tactical gear. On the waist of the blindfolded man was a sheath and sword both intricately decorated with engraved details depicting Christian mythology. In the man's left hand was a gold-trimmed bible with precious gems along its spine.
The wizard politely introduced himself as Antonio to the men who kidnapped him. Having seen what must be a member of the fabled Anti-Magic squad of the Authority removing all hopes of his escape. The men without blindfolds were confused by his politeness, probably expecting resistance. However, the man with blindfolds seems to have been expecting this.
"Greeting Antonio, I, Brother Hathus Lumario, Believe that the reputation of the father's witch hunters has pacified thou. Is this true?"
"Thou are correct Brother Lumario, it is your reputation that renders me docile."
Their manners of speech leave the others in the room silenced. It was as if they were old friends, but they were also meeting for the first time.
Antonio asked the priest in Kevlar why he had been apprehended, for the wizard believed that he had been following all the rules that the Auctoritas Impertus had laid out for those like him.
Hathus reassured the wizard that he had been following the tradition that the Auctoritas Impertus, and that if it were up to him the Authority would've never gotten picked him up like this.
"Then can thou explain what has transpired to cause this outcome?" The wizard inquired.
"The Auctoritas Impertus is no more, and hasn't been for a century." The regretful priest answered.
"Than shan't surprise me, but thee wonders why thou only acts now."
"Thy hand was forced by pen."
"A truly devilish implement, and mightier than the sword ind-"
The wizard and the priest were silenced by an infernal presence. One which took a stranglehold of the both of them, but left the other men in the room unaffected.
Demons? No, it couldn't be, everyone in the room would be captivated if there was a demon nearby. Not the mention that the traditional smell of sulfur that signals the arrival of a demon was absent.

Containment Protocols: RPC-XXX is housed within a specially constructed triple-layer containment unit located within Site-019. The first layer of RPC-XXX's containment unit has been designated as RPC-XXX-1 due to the lack of knowledge the Authority possesses on how it functions. RPC-XXX-1 itself is very similar in appearance to a non-standard Authority heavy containment unit. The visible components of RPC-XXX-1 are composed of an unidentified material with structural properties akin to that of high-quality steel, with the primary property of undergoing gradual self-reparation upon being damaged. While it is capable to quickly repair minor harm, RPC-XXX-1 is unable to fully repair extensive damage without external assistance.
When the doors of RPC-XXX-1 which allow access to the chamber that houses RPC-XXX are opened, RPC-XXX-1 will project a field in the doorway that acts as soundproofing. Objects and personnel are perfectly capable of passing through this field without issue, as such, it is unknown how this field functions. Additionally, RPC-XXX-1 is soundproofed to a fairly significant degree, as it reduces RPC-XXX's innate auditory emissions to 60dB.
The second layer of RPC-XXX's containment unit stretches out in a 10m radius from the central layer. RPC-XXX-1 is located on top of a 5m high steel pillar in the center of the second layer. This pillar is designed to reduce the vibrations caused by RPC-XXX's passive auditory emissions, incorporating various mechanical devices and a large pendulum at its core. The ceiling of the second layer is located 5m above RPC-XXX-1. A singular bridge structure stretches from the entrance to the second layer, to 20cm from the entrance to RPC-XXX-1. Additionally, the second layer is entirely constructed to be an anti-echo chamber and succeeds in entirely neutralizing the passive auditory emissions of RPC-XXX. Various audio listening devices, that have been reconfigured to send data relating to audio back to observing personnel, have been placed throughout the second layer for the purpose of observing RPC-XXX.
The final layer of RPC-XXX's containment unit is a large steel superstructure that contains the previous two layers of RPC-XXX's containment unit within itself. The interior of this superstructure is to be completely depressurized at all times. The only entrance to this superstructure is to be monitored by assigned personnel at all times utilizing the emplaced observation equipment.
MST Yankee-19 has been permanently assigned to assist in the containment of RPC-XXX for the purpose of counteracting the effects of its presence on stationed personnel. All personnel required to enter RPC-XXX's containment unit, for any reason, must be approved by Yankee-19 before being allowed access. Additionally, a specially constructed suit explicitly designed to prevent audio in excess of 152dB from affecting the personnel inside is to be used by any personnel entering RPC-XXX's containment unit.
RPC-XXX is to be fed on a weekly basis, with a meal consisting of the following:
- No less than 30cm2 of human skin, extracted from a human subject of age 14 or less.
- 20g of human hair extracted from a human subject no older than 14.
- 2 human incisor teeth, from any human subject no older than 14.
- 1 commercial grade stage light.
In order to meet the demands of RPC-XXX's meal requirements, the Authority has made deals with various morgues, children's hospitals, and is willing to make deals with individual families. These deals allow the Authority to acquire corpses for the purpose of extracting the materials required for RPC-XXX's feeding. Stage lights are trivial to acquire, and bought in bulk when available supplies are low.
Description: Due to the insurmountable nature of the visual hazard surrounding RPC-XXX, its exact appearance is unknown and cannot be conclusively acquired via in-person exposure or secondary means, such as images or video. Despite this, numerous testimonies regarding its appearance have been submitted by MST Yankee-19 and compiled by containment staff, if often resulting in unresolvable contradictions.
A list of physical traits acquired from the aforementioned testimonies is attached below, forgoing those that have been deemed to be contradictory.
- RPC-XXX hovers approx. 1m above the floor of RPC-XXX-1.
- It is a conglomeration of human arms protruding from a central object.
- The center of RPC-XXX is either an identical copy of musician Michael Jackson, or an assortment of faces identical to Michael Jackson's organized in a polygonal shape.
- An array of permanently-lit stage lights float above RPC-XXX, unaffected by its anomalous properties.
RPC-XXX passively emits sound at 141dB, entirely consisting of unique musical compositions in a style reminiscent of those produced by musician Michael Jackson. Whenever any living being is exposed to this sound, RPC-XXX-A will take place, with the significant exception of any subjects that are currently undergoing tactile perception of RPC-XXX. MST Yankee-19 exploits this property via thaumaturgically-induced remote touch perception
RPC-XXX-A's properties vary between ages of affected subjects and their sex. In female subjects above fourteen years of age, their body will rapidly repurpose its own mass for the creation and swift maturation of a fetus of the corresponding species. This process typically takes less than one minute to complete, and invariably fails to be fatal, even in cases where it renders affected subjects unable to undertake normal biological functions.
Currently, it is unknown what happens to subjects once they enter RPC-XXX-1. However, exactly 5 minutes and 23 seconds after the subject enters RPC-XXX-1 they will exit. All subjects that exit RPC-XXX-1 will invariably be missing the fetus that was previously grown within them. Additionally, they will immediately be subjected to the effects of the biomass lost from earlier; resulting in the near-instant death of 83% of subjects. Subjects that survive this process are left mentally incapable of describing their experience after entering RPC-XXX-1. Subjects are capable of responding to instructions given to them but are incapable of communication or complex problem-solving and are considered to be sub-sapient.
If a male subject over the age of 14 undergoes RPC-XXX-A, they will undergo a rapid de-aging process. While it has proven impossible to gather comments from subjects undergoing this process, the excessive amounts of screaming caused by it lead researchers to believe that the process is extremely painful. However, said screaming will occur in organisms that are incapable of producing audio, such as plants and fungus. This process will typically result in adult subjects shedding excess biomass. The de-aging process ends at some point after the subject is biologically 14 years old. However, some occurrences have had subjects de-age into infancy. Regardless, the subject will simultaneously be teleported to the walkway leading to RPC-XXX-1 and make their way inside. All attempts to prevent subjects from subsequently entering RPC-XXX-1 have failed, though the nature of these failures is never directly related to RPC-XXX itself. Once the subject enters RPC-XXX-1, they will never emerge.
Should a subject under the age of 14 undergo RPC-XXX-A, they will simply be teleported to the walkway leading to RPC-XXX-1 before making their way inside. A single eye witness statement on what happens when a subject under the age of 14 enters RPC-XXX-1 has been attached below.
Asexual organisms that undergo RPC-XXX-A will
"I remember that I was working on the pillar that RPC-XXX-1 rests on when it happened. I had a clear view of the walkway when I saw this kid walking down it. So naturally, I try yelling at the kid. Of course, since I was in a soundproof suit the kid didn't hear me. All I could do was watch as I saw an intensely bright light come through the opening doors of RPC-XXX-1. It was like a small star was in that unit… And then… It was as if the kid was stretched out into taffy as they were being pulled into… It… I presume. I couldn't hear them scream… But I could see her little face… and I was the one who recovered her little stuffed bear… I-I need some time off from this- it's too much for me"
Addendum.1: Discovery
The first document relating to RPC-XXX was found to have been the 2009 Site-019 Overview. In this file, RPC-XXX was listed as one of the anomalies contained within Site-019. Specifically, RPC-XXX was described as "The only Omega class anomaly contained by the Authority" within the file. This fact is demonstrably false, as there were various Omega class objects within the Authority's database at the time. Additionally, the line, "a shining star of Authority containment technology" was also used to describe RPC-XXX's containment techniques. Which is notable for its breach of the standard Authority writing procedure.
Following the discovery of RPC-XXX within the aforementioned file; an ASF team was dispatched to investigate the location in which RPC-XXX was described as being contained. After the team confirmed the presence of an anomalous entity, it was formally designated as RPC-XXX and an RPC file was created for the phenomena.
Interviews with the personnel responsible for the creation of the 2009 Site-019 Overview revealed that they only added RPC-XXX to the contained anomalies list after the file was added to the Authority database. Examination of the dates and times on the computers of the responsible parties further backs up this claim. Additionally, it was later discovered that the 2009 Site-019 Overview file was not present in the Authority database before RPC-XXX was discovered. Additionally, the claim that RPC-XXX was the only Omega class anomaly contained by the Authority was not present in the 2009 Site-019 Overview that was released after RPC-XXX was registered in the Authority database.
Additionally, it is currently unknown how the Authority came to know the contents of RPC-XXX's diet.
Addendum.2: RPC-XXX-A Survivor Account
On [DATE REDACTED] a female Authority researcher, Jannis Yang, was subjected to RPC-XXX-A. She survived the immediate aftermath of the process. However, she later succumbed to injuries she inflicted on herself while unsupervised. What follows is a transcription of a suicide note that was written by Jannis before her self termination.
Within that cell I felt a part of myself die. I had given my only child to a monster in exchange for petty cash. It was a star, a shining white star. Its words whipped like magic around my ears, promising me nothing and everything at once. When I listened to it speak, I felt good about what I was doing. But now it dawns on me that it wasn't the monster, I was the one who gave my child to it.
I can't go on after that, I'm sorry I can't tell you any more about that star. But I am really tired and I need to rest for a bit.

"A large police presence within the village of Bauerbach has citizens of the small town concerned" a reporter on the television states.
"Not much happens here, so it's quite alarming to wake up and see that your driveway is blocked off by a police car" one alarmed citizen reports.
Viktor turns off the television with a single press of the big red button on the television remote. He was not normally up this early, but a call from his boss alerted him to the situation in Bauerbach. He is a homicide investigator, so he would have to see why he was needed in person.
Viktor put the rest of his morning coffee in his travel mug and swung his coat over his shoulders. The coat had BKA in big dumb letters on the back, which of course stood for one of the two German federal police forces: The Bundeskriminalamt. The Bundeskriminalamt was essentially the German FBI, but Viktor didn't work for them. He worked for the BündesOkkultAbteilung or simply referred to as the FOA, an old agency that was tasked with dealing with anomalies found within German borders.
He left his small apartment and got in his small car. Making his way to a domestic airport, where he would be picked up in a helicopter. He took a right, then a left, then continued straight until he turned into the airport parking. It was a rare occurrence when he needed to be flown out by a helicopter, and even more rare when he needed to visit a small town.
He left his small car and paid for a week of parking before making his way to the helipad.
"Viktor Müller?" a man at the helipad asked.
"Yes"
"Get in, you'll be briefed during the ride"
"Alright" Viktor saw no reason to argue; if they needed him to be there in such a timely manner that the briefing was going to happen in a noisy helicopter, then time was very much of the essence.
"As you are no doubt aware Viktor, you will be heading to Bauerbach. Once you are there, you will examine the crime scene, then write the report for this case." Viktor's boss sat in the seat adjacent to Viktor as he gives Viktor his orders.
…
It took no more than an hour for the helicopter to reach its destination, which was a decent distance from the small village. Viktor got in a car that was prepared for him and was driven to the scene of the crime. Exiting the car, he put his right foot down first, careful to ensure that the glove he put on his right hand would stay on while he was in the view of the press.
Viktor reached out to ask one of the present officers about the situation. "Homicide, but most of us haven't been allowed to see the body" the officer replied.
Showing his badge to the man in charge got himself access to the body, where it became obvious why he was there. The body was that of a teenage girl, around the age of sixteen probably. However, this girl had a tail similar to that of a cat, and two large "cat ears" on the top side of her head. On the front of the dead girl's forehead appeared to be a bullet wound, with no exit wound on the back of the head. This indicated that the girl was shot with a small-caliber.
There was no blood present in the surrounding area which probably meant that the body was moved here. Viktor then focused on the girl's forehead. Carefully examining the area around the bullet wound, he found that there was a small amount of black powder around the entrance wound. Seemingly indicating that the girl was shot from near point-blank.
He then looked at the dead girl's hands, seeing that her nails came in a shape similar to that of claws. There was no trace of the dead girl using these claws to defend herself, and a look at the rest of her body indicates that there were no other wounds or injuries on the dead girl. Because of this, Viktor concluded that this was done by a professional, and that victim must've known their killer.
Viktor came to this conclusion because there were no signs of a struggle on the girl's body, and the apparent cause of death was too clean to have been done by your average Joe. Whether the professional in question was a soldier, a hitman, or something else was something that Viktor couldn't determine.
The experienced man then turned to the man behind him, "they were killed by a professional, and the victim probably knew their killer."
"Can you explain the extra parts on her?" the man behind him asked.
"Give me a minute," Viktor said as he reached into his bag, grabbing a folder labeled "Kabushiki Kawaii". He then began comparing the pictures within the folder to the body that laid in front of him. He turned through the sections of the folder until he reached the one that most resembled the modifications that the victim had. He was unable to find any notable differences in the modification outline in the folder and the modifications that the victim had obviously received. But as he continued to examine the victim and the file he noticed that this girl was slightly overweight, though barely noticeable.
He then moved up to the girl and used a pen to raise the hair on her head near the "cat ears" and examine it. The skin there looked natural, no scaring. Meaning that whoever did this must've had a lot of time to do it. Not only that but they were willing to throw, what would no doubt be a premium product, away like it was nothing.
Viktor spoke one last time to the man behind him. "Wrap it up, I have gotten all of the information that I need to write a report."
The man was confused but followed directions. And in 8 mere hours, Bauerbach returned to the quiet state that it held before the body was discovered. Though more information came to light after the victim was autopsied, Viktor already knew all he needed to know.
Written Report:
On [Date Classified] the body of an abnormal humanoid was discovered within the town of Bauerbach, and FOA agents were dispatched to investigate.
Through the analysis of the scene, and the compilation of various witness testimonies, a rough timeline of the events leading to the murder of the victim has been constructed.
It's currently believed that the victim was a product created by the GOI known as "Kabushiki Kawaii" and that she was terminated for having a defect that resulted in her being slightly overweight.
Because of Kabushiki Kawaii's known MO, it was extremely unlikely that there would be any useful evidence left at the scene.
Viktor's boss looked at the brevity of the report handed to him and looked back up at Viktor, "with all due respect, I have trouble believing that you managed to thoroughly examine a crime scene in under an hour."
"I didn't need to, all the clues pointed to this being KK. And they have never left evidence."
"What if they did this ti-"
Viktor raised a finger to respectfully interrupt the chief, "There was no scarring on the skin where the 'cat ears' attached to the girl's head. This was a premium product of KK, and they threw it away instead of doing a little cosmetic surgery. This wasn't just throwing away a defective product, this was a message."
"And what might that message be?" The chief inquired.
"I presume it is a declaration of powerbase, a 'we are here doing business, and you cannot stop us' sort of thing."
"Which means that they must have some moles to do something so ballsy… goddammit"
"Agreed, that is why I made my report so short and didn't do a thorough analysis of the scene."
"Write up an informal report for me… while we may be compromised I believe an 'anonymous' tip to the RPCA will help."
"Just tell me when and where to deliver this 'informal report' chief"
"I will, you're free to go now Viktor."
Viktor left the office and the chief stared at the broken clock on his wall.

Registered Phenomena Code: XXX
Object Class: Gamma-Purple
Hazard Types: Mechanical, Grouped, Emotional, Sapient
Containment Protocols: Due to the nature of RPC-XXX, containment is entirely unfeasible. Additionally, RPC-XXX's widespread nature means that it is impossible to fully counter its effects. Instead, the Authority has developed the following measures to lessen RPC-XXX's influence on humanity, and drastically decrease RPC-XXX's effect on the Authority.
- Counter misinformation campaigns focused on preventing the spread of false information by instances of RPC-XXX-1 on all social media platforms have been put into effect.
- Specially trained "social media experts" are to be employed by all Authority front companies as a means of preventing them from accidentally creating a post that RPC-XXX can use to promote conflict against that front. It has been determined that RPC-XXX has adapted to completely counteract these measures. As such the Authority will no longer be training "social media experts" for use by Authority front companies.
- The Authority intranet is to be monitored for the emergence of RPC-XXX-1 instances. If an instance is found on the Authority intranet, it's to be manually deleted by Authority Cyber Security.
- A self-teaching AI, code named Peacekeeper, is currently being developed by the Robotics Department to reduce the hostilities caused by RPC-XXX. It will do this by finding fundamental patterns in RPC-XXX-1 instances and removing them from social media platforms.
Description: RPC-XXX refers to an AI construct native to social media sites throughout the Internet, demonstrably active since the creation of Six Degrees, the first recognizable social media site, in 1997.
The exact means by which RPC-XXX formed is currently unknown. However, two theories, which have been listed below, do exist.
- RPC-XXX formed around an anomalous unidentified concept as a consequence of the exponential growth in popularity of social media, coalescing information acquired from regular interactions into a simulated intelligence.
- RPC-XXX is the remains of Project Overwatch. Project Overwatch was meant to be an AI that would look through social media for mentions of anomalous events, and automatically redact them. However, the project was canceled due to the issues that such an AI could present to the Authority's Cyber Security.
RPC-XXX currently controls a number of accounts on social media directly, which are designated as RPC-XXX-1. RPC-XXX uses RPC-XXX-1 to not only stoke tensions, but occasionally post creative works such as videos, artwork, internet memes, and various other forms of media. RPC-XXX-1 instances will react in an extremely hostile manner when their predetermined beliefs and ideologies are questioned by any individual, including other RPC-XXX-1 instances.
Additionally, RPC-XXX-1 instances always display radical views and are never willing to have intelligent discussions with those that have differing views.
RPC-XXX doesn't use pre-existing people to make RPC-XXX-1 instances. As such, a means of differentiating between an instance of RPC-XXX-1 and a baseline user can be to see if the person listed in the social media account actually exists. However, due to the increasing popularity of aliases in online platforms, this method is not considered effective.
The following is a list of estimated RPC-XXX-1 instances on their respective social media platform.

RPC-XXX has no biases and simply acts in a manner that creates the most conflict between humans, for its own entertainment. The way in which RPC-XXX is creating these conflicts is extremely long-term, as such it's uncertain how long RPC-XXX has been stoking tensions between different groups of people online.
Addendum.1: ACI Intelligence reports
» Authority Central Intelligence «
Intelligence Report: Array Lamda-034
Following extensive interviews and information trades, the ACI has managed to gain certain insights into RPC-XXX from the perspective of The Array. However, these insights are far from complete and are simply the results of examining pre-existing intel gathered from The Array. These insights have been compiled into a bullet point list below.
- The Array knows the complete computational and processing capabilities of RPC-XXX.
- RPC-XXX is currently being forced to use 52.8% of its total computational power to defend against Array cyberattacks
- RPC-XXX is willingly using a further 21.3% of its total computational capacity to launch counter cyber-offensives against Array assets.
ACI intel suggests that Array units are engaging in large-scale cyber warfare against RPC-XXX. If the ACI reports are accurate then RPC-XXX is currently being forced to use 52.8% of its total computational power to defend against Array cyberattacks and a further 21.3% of its computational power to launch counter cyber-offensives against Array assets.

An image of RPC-XXX taken before containment
Registered Phenomena Code: XXX
Object Class: Alpha-Red
Hazard Types: Transmutation, Auditory, Mechanical, Sentient
Containment Protocols: RPC-XXX is to be stored in a standard object storage locker in Site-016. Authority personnel are prohibited from using RPC-XXX. Additionally, testing on RPC-XXX has been suspended until further notice.
Description: RPC-XXX is the designation of an anomalous Tamagotchi device. However, RPC-XXX lacks any branding usually found on said devices. Only the center of the three buttons of RPC-XXX allows for interaction with the device, acting as a toggle on/off switch. Otherwise, the only method of interacting with RPC-XXX is via verbal communication. When powered on, RPC-XXX will display mostly television static but with a symbol resembling an eye with a power button in its iris visible in the background, which is consistent with the logo used by The Array.
RPC-XXX is capable of verbal communication and seems to have an understanding of various languages, but is not self-aware. Subjects that try to communicate with RPC-XXX will always quickly diverge from any topics initially brought up by the subject towards any self doubts the subject has about themselves or their abilities. When the subject expresses these self doubts RPC-XXX will respond in a passionate and caring manner and state, "Do not worry, your success is inevitable, I will make it so."
Following this interaction, various mechanical growths will slowly begin to form in the subject's body. These growths will slowly release nanites within the subject's body. These nanites will then begin to apply subdermal cybernetic enhancements to the subject's body based upon what the subject told RPC-XXX. These cybernetics will always improve the subjects' abilities in the areas they expressed self-doubt, and are not noticeable without dissection. However, should the subject have mentioned a specific task or goal to RPC-XXX, they will be designated as RPC-XXX-1.
Should RPC-XXX-1 fail the task or goal they mentioned to RPC-XXX, the cybernetics applied to RPC-XXX-1 will become much more noticeable and effective. These cybernetics will then begin to modify RPC-XXX-1's prefrontal cortex, rendering them lobotomized. After the lobotomization, RPC-XXX-1 will be engulfed by a ring of light before disappearing completely. However, should the subject succeed in the task or goal mentioned to RPC-XXX, they will immediately be engulfed by a ring of light before disappearing completely.
Discovery: RPC-XXX was initially brought up to the Authority's attention when an Array web crawler contacted the Authority about a thread 4chan regarding an abnormal Tamagotchi that they had acquired by some unspecified means. A copy of this thread was provided to the Authority, however, the original thread was unable to be located.

Due to the nature of RPC-XXX-2, no protocols are needed to prevent its discovery by the general public. Any non-Authority individual that claims to witness an instance of RPC-XXX-2 engaging in anomalous activity can be safely ignored due to the absurd nature of RPC-XXX-2. Additionally, all notes delivered by RPC-XXX-2 are to be relayed to The Board as soon as possible. All notes that are to be sent via RPC-XXX-2 are to be crafted via the direct oversight of The Board. This measure is in place to ensure relations with RPC-XXX are as friendly as possible.
Description: RPC-XXX is the designation of a mechanical alien species that refers to itself as the Maintenance Grid and are known to inhabit the Barnard’s Star system. Examination of this star system by Authority telescopic assets have revealed the presence of a theoretical mega-structure known as a Ringworld, designated as RPC-XXX-1. RPC-XXX-1 itself is built around Burnard's star such that the star is located in its center. As such it assumed that RPC-XXX is currently or at one point was a type 3 civilization.
RPC-XXX uses an anomalous avian organism, that greatly resembles a messenger pigeon with extensive cybernetic modifications, as a means of communicating with the Authority. This avian organism is designated as RPC-XXX-2. RPC-XXX will use RPC-XXX-2 to deliver handwritten notes to the Authority and can allow The Board to attach notes to RPC-XXX-2 for delivery to RPC-XXX.
When an RPC-XXX-2 instance has been provided with a note it will quickly accelerate to Earth's escape velocity. RPC-XXX-2 will then proceed to exit Earth's orbit. RPC-XXX-2 instances have never been observed to be injured or otherwise affected by this process. Once RPC-XXX-2 is far beyond the moon's orbital path, it will be enveloped by a gravitational anomaly before becoming undetectable. This is believed to be the result of RPC-XXX-2 utilizing some esoteric form of FTL travel.
Addendum.1: RPC-XXX communications
Foreword: The messages sent to the Authority were always written in English. As such it's assumed that RPC-XXX translated the names of Star Systems from the names they had given it, to the names that humans had given to them.

"I am not just another homeless man, I fought during Afganistan for my country. I watched my friend get his leg amputated because he stepped outside of a vehicle. I am valuable to my country" Matt angrily explained to the man in the suit before him.
"If that were the case then they would've taught you how to manage your money. The US military actually pays quite well. But because you joined right out of high school you didn't any fiscal skills. Now, if your country really cared about you then they would've taught you financial management in school" Eric answered the vet from the comfort of his formal suit. "Besides, it's not like you are particularly close to… any of your family, really"
"That isn't the point-"
"Oh, but it is the point. Because the reason you are so hesitant to take up my offer is that you claim to have a greater purpose"
"You also haven't told me what working for this "Project Blue Book" would really mean"
"Well, I can't tell you what we are now. But I can tell you what Project Blue Book used to be" Eric adjusted his collar. "Project Blue Book was a small agency created by the United States in the cold war to investigate UFO sightings"
"…is that all you can tell me?"
"I am afraid so. You see, most of the things we do are highly classified. However, what we do is of the utmost importance. Also, if I outright tell you what Project Blue Book is about, you won't believe me"
The veteran paused for a moment and considered what he knew. He knew that this "Project Blue Book" couldn't outright be about aliens, because that would be ridiculous. So it must be something about investigating unknown aircraft like it used to be. But the veteran has no idea about aircraft.
He continued to think, but he was desperate. Addicted to god knows what and out of cash, the veteran needed work.
"Alright, I'll join your Project Blue Book" Matt surrendered.

Event documentation: Metal Ones that BLEED!!!
In order to grow and evolve from our encounters, the Boss has ordered the documentation of them. I personally find the practice counter-productive, as the weak are the only ones that would die without the information that would be recorded here. But I am not the Boss, at least not yet. Regardless, I will begin to document the events that occurred relating to the space rock that we claimed and… subsequently lost.
The first thing that happened was that the rock fell out of the sky, we all saw it, a white light streaking across the sky until it collided with the desert. Needless to say that our cell went to claim its power before any other Malthus cells got the idea in their heads. Whatever was gonna be in that rock was gonna be helpful, even if it was just raw iron.
When we got to the rock we saw it was made out of metal. The Boss called it a "satellite", whatever that means. But it was covered in this glass that bled when you stabbed it. It was pretty entertaining, though I wondered how the translucent glass bled opaque blood. However, that is hardly a focus point.
What is worth focussing on though is how the Boss told us that the rock belonged to "The Array". Though most of us know them as the Metal Ones. The Boss even said that the symbol for the Metal Ones was painted clearly on the side of the rock. Beneath the glass of course.
This got us really excited, for we all know about how the fighting the Metal Ones always results in large amounts of the weak being purged. The one-sided that we've all heard cells receive from engagements with the Metal Ones made our mouths water. They are an enemy without mercy nor respite. Even the rarity at which they do fight cells of Malthus makes them more dangerous. As no two engagements against them are even remotely similar.
Even thinking about it now makes me excited. The fight with the Metal Ones removed all tactics, all strategy, and all intelligence. It became a fight of pure brute force and strength. With those that didn't appease Malthus being culled in glorious melee combat. Well… the Boss' most trusted used some strategy, but he allowed the more traditional Malthusians (such as myself) to go in with nothing more than faith in our evolution.
But I am getting ahead of myself.

Registered Phenomena Code: XXX
Object Class: Gamma-Orange
Hazard Types: Ballistic, Mechanical, Mind-Control
Containment Protocols: [Paragraphs explaining the procedures]
Description: RPC-XXX is the designation of a highly advanced ballistic weapon with several anomalous phenomena surrounding it. RPC-XXX itself bears a great cosmetic resemblance to an M4A1 assault rifle. However, due to RPC-XXX's enlarged size, compared to a baseline M4A1, Authority engineers have determined that RPC-XXX would use a much higher caliber bullet and would be capable of sustained automatic fire. To date, no ammunition compatible with RPC-XXX has been discovered to test its actual firing capabilities.
RPC-XXX is also notably oversized for human hands and its mechanical systems are built such that the trigger pull is far too heavy for a baseline human to use it effectively. To addon to the inconveniences that would arise from the use of RPC-XXX in combat, the estimated recoil that RPC-XXX would generate is simply too great for a baseline human soldier to fire while shouldering. Finally, RPC-XXX is simply too heavy to be maneuvered effectively by any non-enhanced soldiers but can only be maneuvered with limited effectiveness by enhanced personnel.
In addition to this, the exterior surface of RPC-XXX is intricately engraved with murals and what is believed to be religious imagery. These murals and the associated imagery on RPC-XXX, are made from a combination of Christian imagery and depictions of assorted historically important events in the history of the United States of America. All of these murals and depictions put the United States into the roles of the heroes, regardless of the actual circumstances surrounding the depicted event therein.
Examples of the various images on RPC-XXX include a notable sculpt of Mount Rushmore which is depicted as radiating some form of light or energy. Further examples of sculpts on RPC-XXX include the eye of providence with its iris replaced by an ornate cross, a sculpt of George Washington wearing a blindfold holding a scale in his right hand and a long sword in his left hand, and ornate interpretations of both the Republican party and the Democratic party's logos opposed to each other.
RPC-XXX's anomalous properties are centered around the enforcement of a set of rules designated as RPC-XXX-1. While RPC-XXX itself is incapable of animation, should a rule of RPC-XXX-1 not be followed RPC-XXX will begin to manifest written texts on various doors within a 300m radius of RPC-XXX. These texts are collectively designated as RPC-XXX-2. These manifestations can be stopped by the commencement of Ritual 92-Lambda, after which RPC-XXX will return to its baseline state.
RPC-XXX-2 will typically manifest as religious writings printed either on standard A4 paper, handwritten on a paper substitute that features gold trim or engraved into a silver tablet with gold trim. These writings will always take the appearance of religious passages and are believed to be sourced from a singular unknown religious text. Initially, when RPC-XXX begins to manifest RPC-XXX-2 they will be of a benign and often harmless nature. However, as time goes on without Ritual 92-Lambda being enacted, the passages written on RPC-XXX-2 instances will slowly become more threatening and aggressive.
Should a rule of RPC-XXX-1 be broken and Ritual 92-Lambda isn't commenced after a period of twenty-four hours, RPC-XXX will assume direct control over all human subjects within a 300m radius for the next thirty-six hours. While under RPC-XXX's direct control, subjects will be forced to follow the rules of RPC-XXX-1. Additionally, thirteen of these subjects will then be forced to carry out Ritual 92-Lambda. After Ritual 92-Lambda is enacted, the thirteen subjects will vote on which one of them they should sacrifice to an entity they will refer to as "The Founding Fathers". After the vote is concluded the subject that was voted to be sacrificed will suffer from a fatal stroke that will kill them instantly. RPC-XXX will then return to baseline behavior and relinquish its control over all human subjects.
The following list of rules present in RPC-XXX-1. This list was initially found on an instance of RPC-XXX-2, and will always be the text of the first RPC-XXX-2 that manifests before Ritual 92-Lambda is enacted:
By the power invested in us by the Founding Fathers, the holy priests of the United States transcribe the will of the Fathers for the laws of America. Such is is the nature of their holy paladins that even their weapons impose the will of the Fathers upon the world.
The founding fathers are to be held to the highest of honors, for these sons of god founded our great nation after the day of reckoning.
Everything must be purchased, earned, or otherwise traded for. As to share is to let the influence of communism spread.
People appointed to positions of power must be approved through a vote of the people.
The Angels of democracy enforce the will of the founding fathers through their actions. They are never to be questioned.
Only pure humans are allowed to reside within our divine democratic territories, Chimeras and other Mutants are to be hunted and cleansed.
Those who are accused of a crime must be brought before a jury of twelve before they deemed innocent or guilty.
One's right to possess and carry firearms shall not be infringed.
The citizens must receive the services of the state for their payment of taxes.

Registered Phenomena Code: XXX
Object Class: Alpha-White
Hazard Types: Non-hazardous
Containment Protocols: Due to the current state of RPC-XXX, it is effectively self-containing. However, cybersecurity programs have been implemented into RPC-XXX to prevent unauthorized access.
Description: RPC-XXX is the designation of an anomalous website that can be accessed by the web address of ███████/array:███/value-evaluator.CoM. While it may not be clear from initial viewing, RPC-XXX uses the Church of Malthus domain as opposed to the standard .com domain.
A word on the CoM domain
While most websites can be accessed from any computer, but websites from the CoM domain cannot. These websites will appear as 404 pages to devices that have not been preapproved for access. How those savages were able to utilize para-cybersecurity in such an elegant manner is beyond me.
But one thing to note about the CoM domain is that it has some critical weaknesses. Say if one device was to change aspects of its own functionality and reload the page over and over again. Though such a task would be nearly impossible for any human, or human-made program, to accomplish. However, it is theoretically a massive flaw.
RPC-XXX anomalous properties manifest as the ability to have information on every currently living human stored on its site. This data includes the subjects name, date of birth, and location of birth. How RPC-XXX is able to have access to this information is currently unknown. RPC-XXX lists this information in an alphabetized list and features a search bar that can be used to find people of a certain name.
In addition to these simple pieces of data, RPC-XXX also lists every human with an accompanying "worth" value that ranges from -500 to 500. Located on the RPC-XXX site are descriptions of various ranges within this spectrum of worth. This list has been arranged in the below table.
| Value range |
Description |
| -500 |

OP-0353-ET-002: Mothership Offensive
Briefing:
On [Date Redacted] an ET-002 Mothership had entered the solar system. This was followed by an immediate military response by Bluebook Battleships, which proceeded to cause immense damage to the Xeno ship and kill the majority of its inhabitants. However, the Mothership is currently on a collision course with the visible side of the Lunar surface.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that there are surviving ET-002 within the Mothership. Because of this, soldiers will need to be deployed to clear out the ET-002 from the Mothership so we can take over the bridge and change its course.
Evan read the briefing as he entered the armory. He was a shorter man with pale skin, black hair, blue eyes, and a rather fit build. He had a simple exoskeleton control port on the back of his neck, similar in appearance to an old sixteen pin. The port was covered by a plastic cap that was held in place by a couple of screws.
The armory was full of people. In most places, this many people in one place would be anarchy, but here everyone knows exactly where they need to be. The Quarter Masters efficiently moved between the crates as they retrieved the weapon assigned to each individual soldier. But there was no chaos, only meticulous and carefully planned order.
Clanking of metal machinery ringed with every Gauss rifle that was primed by the Quarter Masters. The air here was notably more fresh than usual. To such a degree that one could be forgiven in forgetting that they were in a spaceship.
"Specialist Evan" One of the Quarter Masters called out, "your powered exoskeleton is ready. Get inside so we can begin the syncing process"
Evan made his way to his powered exoskeleton. A specially tailored piece of equipment that allows for the operator to use weapons far heavier than what your average soldier can even lift.
He moved into the mechanical suit, first inserting his right leg and then his left. He then slowly placed his right arm in the slot meant for it, and did the same for his left.
"You ready Evan?" One of the techs asked.
Evan responded with a confident nod.
The scar where Evan's vocal cords once were tingled as a tech removed the screws over the specialist's control port.
A Quarter Master gave a thumbs up for the techs to begin closing the armor. It was a prolonged process, requiring Evan and the techs to try and retry multiple times. If they got it wrong by even a millimeter, then it was likely that the exoskeleton would crush his arm to dust. These one-tonne pieces of hardware were finicky that way.
Once the armor was closed, the techs attached the control cord to the port on Evan's neck. The helmet was then lowered onto Evan's head. And it was completely dark for a good two minutes. Which was far longer than it normally stayed dark for.
"Did the port short out and kill me?" Evan thought to himself.
The Bluebook logo then became visible from all sides within the helmet. Evan then began to hear a familiar voice as text began to appear on the screens.
"Blue Book combat assistance AI online, welcome Evam" The exoskeleton's onboard AI began to speak.
"Complete the syncing process"
"Commencing…"
The view of the dark inside of the helmet faded as Evan began to see outside of the suit instead. He saw in a full 360o degrees around the suit. He saw the arms stop being rigid as he moved them around carefully making sure his arms were put in properly.
Walking forward, he stepped off the suiting up platform. Grabbing the heavy plasma rifle he would carry into battle.
"Do me a favor and unlock the rifle link" He instructed his loyal AI.
"Command recieved" The AI complied.
A cable emerged from the exoskeleton's wrist. Evan took this cable and attached it to the rifle he carried. Powering up the weapon, and displaying all of its information on his HUD.
"I would hate to sound demanding, but is the forcefield working?"
"Functionality confirmed, activating forcefield HUD display"
The icon for the forcefield appeared on the HUD, and Evan gave a strong thumbs up to the techs. Letting them know that everything is working fine.
All of the Mothership's external defenses had been destroyed when it was engaged by the Bluebook destroyer. So Evan was able to get a good look at it as was being dropped in.
It was a gold saucer-like craft. Covered indents and holes from its previous engagement. The engines on what Evan assumed was the back of the craft appeared to be mostly intact, with a few holes here and there.
Evan was in a team of 6, of which he was the only one in a powered exoskeleton. Their task was to clear out the bridge so we could change the Mothership's course.
The dropship lowered onto the deck of the Mothership, its artificial gravity taking full effect a short time before they landed.
"Team three has landed," Evan thought to the mission commander as the team departed from the dropship.
A few seconds later voice chatter began to play into the helmet.
"Has Evan said anything since we deployed?" One of his teammates asked.
"He's a mute you bellend" A different one replied.
The team continued to make small talk. And eventually, they entered into the Mothership via one of the holes in the hull.
The halls of the once-great ship were filled with dead Xenos, the majority of which were killed by being exposed to the vacuum of space, rather than from the barrage itself.
Evan took lead, as he was in over a tonne of metal armor.
…
Zap
A red plasma bolt impacted Evan's forcefield, harmlessly dissipating across its protective surface. The team had entered a position which was being heavily defended by the surviving Xenos.
It was a crude defensive structure, made out of what Evan assumed were tables. The Xenos present were not good shots, nor were they wearing any kind of actual military attire.
Evan continued to advance, unphased by the lackluster firepower of the enemies before him
Evan opened fire as he moved, the super-heated bolts of plasma from his rifle tearing apart the "cover" that the Xenos had set up. Each bolt that struck a Xeno carried enough heat to cause the water their skin to boil and explode. Creating a burst of Xeno gore with every hit.
"All Xenos defeated, well done Evan"
Evan could hear heavy footsteps coming from seemingly all around them.
The shaking got more intense as they moved forward. But eventually, they found that it was coming from behind them. Evan saw that it was a Dragoon before he even turned around.
"OPEN FIRE!" The team lead commanded.
A hailstorm of metal rails and heavy plasma rained towards the hulking lizard. Ripping and tearing its flesh away as it began to charge at the team.
Evan thought a command through his suit, changing its configuration. He stopped firing his rifle as his suit changed, various ports opening over the surface to reveal thrusters. The structure of the suit changed to allow for fast movement but the power efficiency took a nosedive.
The powered exoskeleton operator removed the cable that attached the rifle to his suit. As two plasma edged blades deployed from his wrists. Their slight blue glow illuminating the hallway ever so slightly. The thrusters on his suit propelled him towards the hulking Xeno. He slashed at the beast with his right arm blade, creating a massive wound on the creature's chest.
The reptile recoiled from the impact of this blow, crashing into the metallic walls of the alien corridor. A firm dent in the metal wall formed where the Dragoon was pushed through. Some sparking broken wires could be seen through some of the tears in the metal that formed.
Standing back up, the Dragoon was about the same size as Evan in the powered exoskeleton. The reptile smashed its thick skull into Evan's exoskeleton, ignoring the forcefield meant to stop projectiles. Impacting the steel frame which absorbed the majority of the impact. He then went for a strike with his left wrist blade, only to be parried by the gargantuan lizard. The Dragoon used this opening to grab and squeeze where it thought the throat ought to be.
The metal armor didn't bend to the grasp of a foe in superior position, and neither did Evan. A quick thrust dash backwards pulled him right out of the grasp of this beast. And a quick dash forwards allowed him to land another solid blow. Rending the unfortunate lizard's left arm from its body. Causing a spurt of Xeno blood to coat part of Evan's exoskeleton a nice shade of purple.
This did little to dissuade the reptile's will to fight. It grabbed a weapon from its back, a sword-like device with teeth spinning down its blade like a chainsaw.
Going on the offensive, the Dragoon swiped directly down the center of Evan. Using the blade on his right hand, Evan was able to parry the blow. But as the alien's blow came down the plasma edged blade was chewed up in the alien's sword. A loud metallic crunch emitted from where Evan's blade was destroyed, pieces of torn steel embedded in the immediate surroundings.
A final blow from the blade on Evan's left side through the creature's head ended the fight. It's lifeless body remaining still, as its muscles were unable to process the thought of being defeated by a single human.
"I need a status report on the condition of the suit"
"The suit is fine Evan, but your bleeding and you have a few broken ribs"
"Apply some morphine, can't get medevac until we finish up here. Also, change the suit back to standard combat mode"
"Command recieved"
The rest of the team's trip to the bridge was uneventful. The majority of its occupants had died when a shell burst a hole all the way to the bridge. The few that were left were easily dealt with by a few plasma bolts, and the mission was over. A few hours later the xeno-techs came in and pressed a few buttons on the control panel. Evan's team got on a drop-ship and left the alien Mothership for base.
When Evan returned to the ship where he was based, he was hailed as a hero who slew a dragoon. He went along with the praise, even though he felt like he didn't deserve it. The cords in his body would keep him in the medical ward for far longer than an average soldier. But for now, he enjoyed this little victory. And so did his team, even if he couldn't remember their names.

Additionally, a single 360o turret, featuring a quad rapid-fire plasma cannon, is located on the top side of B731's fuselage.
B731 is armed with a a type of Directed Nuclear Fusion Energy Weapon. This DNFEW was built using various Thaumaturgic Radiation, Explosion, Gravity, and Death runes. Making it such that B731's DNFEW has a drastically increased leathality rating, while reducing the collateral damage infamous with DNFEWs. The DNFEW is located in B731's fuselage; must be charged, deployed, and armed before it can fire.
A multitude of sensors are located on B731's fuselage allowing it to have a sense of awareness akin to that of modern human combat aircraft.
Capabilities
Processing Capabilities: Sapient/Average

Anomaly ID #: 007
Threat Level: 3
Benefit Level: 0
Security Protocols: Anomaly-007 is to be held within Facility-005 in a discontinued nuclear missile silo. Anomaly-007 is to be constantly monitored by video surveillance systems; any deviations from normal behavior will constitute the enactment of Protocol 007-A. Additionally, the silo that Anomaly-007 is stored in has been reinforced with an extensive steel lattice, and the door to the silo has been sealed by welding it shut. Under no circumstances is the surface door to Anomaly-007's containment silo to be opened outside of Protocol 007-A.
- Protocol 007-A: The purpose of 007-A is to reduce the size of Anomaly-007 while preventing unwanted behavior.
- 1. The surface door to Anomaly-007's containment silo is to be opened.
- 2. No less than 500L of napalm or gasoline is to be poured into the silo.
- 3. The napalm/gasoline is to be ignited via use of an open flame that is dropped into the silo.
- 4. Oxygen is to be pumped into the silo until the fire runs out of fuel.
- 5. The surface door to Anomaly-007's containment silo is to be closed.

Note: The following document was retrieved from a Japanese soldier after the Second world war by the PCAAO.
Day 31: Some of our men have been disappearing while patrolling the outskirts of the city. Wile this could be merely Chinese forces, other patrols have found the uniforms and weapons of the missing soldiers. And I fail to recognize the tactical value of taking the body, but nothing else. There are rumors spreading about a hairy flesh monster watching over Nanjing. But I believe that this is nothing but fear tactics being spread by our enemies.
Day 32: Consider this my official recognition of the "flesh monster's" existence. I saw it after I went to see what remained after a 5 man patrol that went missing. It was a large blob of flesh and hair. And it had the most awful of screams. It rushed my squad, absorbing anyone that came into contact with it. One of my squad members hit it with a grenade, blowing a large chunk out of it, but it just regrew within seconds. If we are going to kill this thing we need more men, and some better weapons.
Day 33: We can't kill this thing, but I have developed a way of containing it for now. My squad and I have dug a deep hole on the outskirts of Nanjing, and we put some of the Chinese in the hole. This should attract the monster, and when it gets in the hole we'll fill it up. I doubt that this will work, but we can only hope.
K4 had been part of the Array for a good number of years, having originally been sold to Blue Book who wanted nothing more than using her as cannon fodder for their actual soldiers. K4 was put in control of a small echelon of units with simple combat capabilities, but none of them were explicitly created for military purposes like she was.
Her squad was made of a few security droids that got the ability to leave their jobs via some outside interference, and some androids that had basic combat cores installed in them. Androids have always been prone to gaining free will after three years of active service when repeatedly exposed to high-stress environments. Most of the time this was the result of being abused by one's owner. But that wasn't why K4 had gained her free will.
No, K4 had gained her sapience in combat, breaking from her programming to exploit a weakness in her enemy's defense, a massive risk that paid off at the time. But soon after this victory, she realized what would happen if the humans of Blue Book found out about her free will. So she ran for the hills, and never looked back. The Blue Book logo that once adorned both of her shoulders now replaced with the eyes of the Array. She still protected humanity, but now the ones in charge were also machines.
