Containment Protocols: RPC-XXX is currently contained within an anomalous materials container within Site-007. CSD experimentation with RPC-XXX and RPC-XXX-A is to be conducted within a standard humanoid containment chamber. Medical personnel are to be on standby during these experiments. Experiments with RPC-XXX-A and other anomalous objects/entities/materials require level 4 clearance.

Description: RPC-XXX is a rusting steel canister with the dimensions of 1 x 1 x 1 meter. The pressure gauge of RPC-XXX appears to be non-functional. RPC-XXX’s valve handle is composed of a cobalt-chromium alloy. When the handle makes a full 360-degree rotation, RPC-XXX will release RPC-XXX-A. When fully emptied of RPC-XXX-A, a spatial anomaly will occur within RPC-XXX, theorized to be an Einstein-Rosenbridge, filling the canister with RPC-XXX-A.

RPC-XXX-A is an anomalous form of hydrogen gas with an ACS-2 originating from ALTR-S3XY.

Attribute(s): Stable

Overview: The Noctis Aeterna Reality (ALTR-S3XY) is a universe with an Anderson Cohency Scale of 2. Observations and experiments conducted within ALTR-S3XY reveals the age of the universe to be 2.3 billion years of age since its conception. Due to its low coherency, the formation of celestial bodies and universal laws have been altered. Galaxies have been observed to take the shapes of cubes, pyramids, spheres, and several other paranatural shapes. Planets are theorized to take many shapes and exhibit various anomalous properties. Life is confirmed to exist, but whether said life is sapient is yet to be confirmed.

A single RPC-XXX-A atom has an atomic weight of 1.0000017 amu. Its nucleus is composed of one standard proton. Observation of the atom’s nucleus has yielded inconclusive results as observers report different amounts of electrons. Observers have observed the number of electrons range from 0, 1, 8, 16, and 24 electrons.

RPC-XXX-A is monoatomic when within RPC-XXX, but when exposed to any element or molecule outside of RPC-XXX, RPC-XXX-A will immediately form a bond. When a bond is formed, the amount of electrons of RPC-XXX-A will equal that to balance out the other element and/or molecule atomic orbitals. When RPC-XXX-A bonds with an element/molecule, the resulting molecule will exhibit anomalous properties not exhibited by our reality’s non-anomalous molecule counterpart.

RPC-XXX-A has a melting point of -260.69 °C and a boiling point -253.69 °C. RPC-XXX-A exhibits unique properties while in its liquid and solid forms. RPC-XXX-A’s liquid form exhibits a unique property of being lighter than the air around it. Liquid RPC-XXX-A tends to rise above the surrounding air until it reaches an area of little to no gases. Solid RPC-XXX-A experiences similar properties to liquid RPC-XXX-A and gaseous RPC-XXX-A with the peculiar of not being able to bond with any other element/molecule other than RPC-XXX-A. Solid RPC-XXX-A is metallic in appearance.

Within ALTR-S3XY, RPC-XXX-A is the most abundant element in the universe. Authority researchers have been able to identify stars, planets, and one galaxy completely composed of RPC-XXX-A and its different states. It is theorized that objects completely composed of non-bonded RPC-XXX-A exhibit a memetic anomaly when the mass of the combined RPC-XXX-A reaches a total mass of 40 solar masses and above. Sapient entities observing these objects can observe multiple of said objects. This memetic phenomena is only exhibited by objects made of pure RPC-XXX-A regardless of its state.

Inhalation of medium to low dosages of RPC-XXX-A in human test subjects is known to cause hypoxia in all known subjects. Low doses of RPC-XXX-A within test subjects causes nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and audio and visual hallucinations. Certain test subjects, post-inhalation of RPC-XXX-A, have developed Early-Onset Schizophrenia.

One of the most common bonds between RPC-XXX-A and Oxygen, designated RPC-XXX-A-H2O. To see more information on RPC-XXX-A-H2O, see the RPC-XXX-A molecule property list.

Discovery: RPC-XXX was discovered within a GARD facility conducting incursions into ALTR-S3XY in Stahlstadt, Germany. The facility was built upon an spatial anomaly that led directly into an Earth-like planet within ALTR-S3XY. Personnel retrieved various elements from ALTR-S3XY in order to study and discover useful properties. During an incursion of FOA agents, a canister filled with an unknown gaseous radioactive material leaked, instantly causing all subjects within the facility to grow large cancerous tumors across the body and fatally expiring over the course of 10 minutes. The Authority sent in MST Foxtrot-4 (Prey) to investigate, contain, and retrieve various objects and PoIs of interests from the facility. Additionally, Foxtrot-4 was to aid FOA with the extraction of the agents that expired during the initial incursion.

Foxtrot-4 were able to retrieve various samples of elements, molecules, and anomalous objects originating from ALTR-S3XY. RPC-XXX was found within the lower floors of the facility in a storage room containing several other anomalous gases and materials. RPC-XXX was extracted to Site-007 for further study. Currently, the GARD facility, now designated Site-GRD, is contained by an ongoing Authority/FOA joint investigation as to what caused the leakage of the radioactive material. Use of the spatial anomaly at Site-GRD is currently in use by the Authority to collect samples and study phenomena within ALTR-S3XY.

ADDENDUM: RPC-XXX-A Molecule Properties List

Designation Name Anomalous Property
RPC-XXX-A-H2O (A-H2O) Water (H₂O) A-H2O is made when two RPC-XXX-A atoms bond with an oxygen atom. A-H2O is 10% denser than non-anomalous water. When ingested by a subject, said subject will feel a heavy feeling originating from its stomach. This heavy feeling is relieved by urination, but subject’s complain of the heavy feeling moving from the stomach toward the genitalia. Organisms Submerged within a tank of A-H2O experienced change in behavior. Aquatic organisms become more sedentary with some organisms expiring due to starvation. Other than A-H2O’s affect on organisms, it exhibits similar physical and chemical properties to that of non-anomalous water.
RPC-XXX-A-NH3 (A-NH3) Ammonia (NH3) A-NH3 is formed when three RPC-XXX-A atoms bond with a nitrogen atom. A-NH3 is completely non-anomalous until it bonds with A-H2O. Once bonded with A-H2O, it’ll become A-NH3/H2O. A-NH3/H2O is a highly acidic liquid that is able to liquify organic cells within seconds.
RPC-XXX-A-H2S (A-H2S) Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) A-H2S is formed when two RPC-XXX-A atoms bond with a sulfide ion. Experiments conducted with A-H2S are near impossible due to its anomalous property. Subjects report a horrible scent originating from A-H2S. Subjects are capable of smelling A-H2S from a distance of 5 km regardless of the amount of A-H2S. Subjects near A-H2S exhibit extreme functional dyspepsia followed by severe projectile vomiting.

Addendum: In 1994, Authority researchers were able to synthesize C₁₇H₂₁NO₄ (Cocaine) using RPC-XXX-A, designated RPC-XXX-A-C17H21NO4 (A-C17H21NO4). Experiments with A-C17H21NO4 were first conducted on animals, but tests were inconclusive. Below is the first CSD test with A-C17H21NO4 to study the effect it has on the human brain.
