Monarch Security investigates Cair Aisling.

Attempts to classify the entire Cair Aisling anomaly.

Dialogue between an authority representative and an MI13 agent spread throughout the format.

Conflict between MI13 classification and the authority classification. MAKE SURE TO USE BRITISH SPELLING FOR THE PARTS IN THE MI13 DOCUMENT

logo will be a black outline of pabay over the monarch critical threat logo

ask pierson for help with mi13 stuff? maybe make it a triple collab???

grab css divclass for the MI13 dossier

Cast:

Agent Burns: Monarch representative, case lead for the Dunbar Investigation. From Pierson's tale.

Doctor Amara Rahman: Authority researcher. Mainly using her because she appears in other articles. She's writing the Cair Aisling report and working with Burns.

Cair Aisling: Reality-altering anomaly that encompasses the entirety of the Scottish island of Pabbay. TTPY can help make a map!

He walked over to my desk and slid a dossier across it. "Here you are."

Rahman stopped typing and gently moved her laptop aside as the agent sat down, cross-legged in the cushy chair across from the doctor. Adjusting her glasses, she takes the folder in her hands and looks at the papers inside. It was a brief report on the island, or at least, a report on what MI13 managed to find. Dr. Rahman smirked a little when she saw the formatting.

Threat Class: T5 - CRITICAL

Paranatural Type: Location

Safety Procedure: A two-kilometer no-fly zone has been established around the Isle of Pabbay. Locals from Vatersay have been advised not to go near the island under the guise of a naval training exercise. The HMS Duncan, the HMS Kent, and the HMS Somerset have been stationed to patrol the island and discharge blank rounds to deter investigation by fishermen and ferries.

Secured Location: As of writing, the Dunbar anomaly is isolated to the island of Pabbay of the Outer Hebrides. The anomaly does not appear to risk spreading to the surrounding nor has the island itself changed location. Caution must be taken, however, to ensure that anomalous entities or material does not leave the anomalous space.

Report Lead: DAVIDSON, BURNS

Paranatural Description: A currently unknown anomalous event has resulted in the entirety of the Scottish island of Pabbay being encapsulated in or replaced with what is believed to be an altered anomalous reality (AAR). While the exterior of the island appears to maintain its original size, ground forces report…

He tapped the name by 'Report Lead.' "That'd be me, Doctor." Burns leaned back in his seat and smiled.

"So where should I start?"

Burns shrugged. "From the top, I suppose."

Rahman set a hand to her chin as she scrolled on her computer's mousepad. "Right. So Pabbay itself was-"

The agent held up a hand. "Pabbay."

"Sorry?"

He clicked his tongue. "Not to be rude, but it's not 'Pabbie,' it's 'Pah-bay.' Apologies. Please, continue."

Amara gave a somewhat confused glance towards the Englishman before turning back to her computer. "Erm. Anyways, the island was basically unremarkable, but Authority agents were already in the area due to a containment breach of the [hyperlink to the sunlight moths]."

Davids raised an eyebrow to no one and gave a strained smile. Amara looked up and scowled.

"The records make it obvious. Why wouldn't we would be in the area? If anything, contacting you would be seen as us trying to get your agency to fix our problem."

Burns let out a chuckle, "I suppose we have different priorities then. It'd be preferable to have known about this when it happened, but I see that maintaining your dignity is more important than national security."

She leaned forward and groaned, "We're not here to play the blame game, David.

The agent adjusted his tie. "Of course."

The doctor settled back into her chair. "We know that 619 didn't have anything to do with the island's appearance, so it was pure coincidence. Regardless, once we identified the anomaly-"

"-And made sure it wasn't immediately obvious if it was your fault."

Amara waved her hand. "I said save it for later."

"Fine then."

"As I was saying, we made sure to contact Monarch Security to block all air and sea transport in the area to keep the civilian population away from the island as we determined its qualities, as I'm sure you're aware." She rotated her screen as Davids rolled closer to the desk so they both could see the diagram displayed.

The computer displayed various air and sea traffic patterns in the region- while little blue and yellow dots slowly made their way across the Hebrides, none went near the island of Pabbay, which was circled in red.

Davids shrugged. "Wasn't hard. The only actual airport is over in Eoligarry. The nearest dock is in Castlebay. The 10 people who would possibly take notice of the warning didn't really care. Nobody was going by Pabbay in the first place."

Amara pressed a number of buttons and several black and white dots appeared. "Now here's our ships. Black is us, white is you, and right now both of our teams are making rounds around the island. So far no anomalous activity has been reported outside of the island itself, and numerous MST and Monarch Security teams are working together in the anomaly itself, however communication is limited as we haven't established the proper networks yet."

"Hold on, hold on. What's the situation with communication? Will I be able to reach out to my teams right now?"

Amara shook her head slowly, "I'm afraid not. Signal loss is a major issue as there's massive patches of interference. In some instances we've just had runners deliver messages to our base camps by hand. Getting any orders or news out to the teams is difficult."

"What about air support? Do we have anything in the sky to monitor the island?"

She bit her thumb. "We haven't determined the upward limit of the island's… field of influence."

"How so?"

"Obviously we can't just send heli after heli above the island, hoping that it doesn't dissolve once it goes overhead." The doctor clicked across several tabs before pulling up a paused video from the perspective of a helicopter's cockpit.

Amara hit play, and spoke over the sound of the aircraft's blades spinning and the miscellaneous radio chatter. "This is the live feed from the Starbuck who was deployed to scout out the island from above while a recon team was deployed on the ground. At this point, we were able to ascertain the island's anomalous effect aftert
