December, 1850 - August, 1864:
The events of the Taiping Rebellion occurred. The esoteric beliefs of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom attracted various local groups both anomalous and non-anomalous, dragging the 伏魔班 (Demon Hunters) into the conflict.
As the Authority was still undergoing restructuring and reorganization following their establishment in 1834, the Authority gave little support to the conflict.
(Vapor) Small groups of Auctoritas missionaries were sent to China to establish connections in the far east and was subsequently stranded with the abolishment of the Auctoritas. A portion of these people believed in the apparent divinity of the Hong Xiuquan and decided to join the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, paralleling the events of RPC-797.
25 July, 1894 – 17 April, 1895:
The events of the First Sino-Japanese War. Indications suggest anomaly usage by the Japanese.
The lack of confirmation resulted in a delayed response from the declining Demon Hunters.
2 November, 1899 - 6 September, 1901:
The events of the Boxer Rebellion occurred. Initially suppressed by the Qing government, Empress Dowager Cixi soon coopted the Boxer’s anti-foreigner ideals, the nationalistic movement drew the support of Demon Hunters remnants. The continued persecution of western foreigners finally resulted in the formation of the Eight Nation Alliance, with the Authority joining to contain the exposure of anomalies to the public mass. (The bulk of the anomalous force consisted of Japanese and Authority personnel against the Demon Hunters remnants)
In the waning days of the Boxer Rebellion, remaining members of the Demon Hunters were all apprehended/killed by Authority forces. The Chinese Division of the Authority is officially initiated next month. The destruction of the Demon Hunters also led to mass lootings of their documentations on various anomalies, leading to a lack of info for the future PCAAO on their anomalous legacy. 10 October, 1911 – 12 February, 1912:
The events of the Xinhai Revolution occurred. This ends the Centuries-long Imperial rule of China and establishes the Republic of China.
1916 to 1937:
Warlord Era(1916 to 1928): The Republic of China briefly reverted into an empire and immediately collapsed into various warring states backed by various foreign interests (E.g. The nationalist KMT supported by the USSR and the Japanese-backed Fengtian government). The period largely ended with KMT domination of China following the Northern Expedition. The defeated Fengtian government was later annexed by the Japanese Empire in 1932.
Chinese Civil War (First Phase)(1927 to 1937): Chiang Kai-shek decides to expel all communist influence, the purging of the Chinese Communist Party led to various Communist Insurgencies across China which later consolidated into the Shanxi Province.
7 July 1937 – 2 September 1945:
The events of the Second Sino-Japanese War occurred. Authority’s logistics command completely collapsed.
10 August, 1945 – 1 May, 1950:
Chinese Civil War (Second Phase)(1945 to 1950): The Chinese Civil War resumes, ending with the retreat of the KMT to Taiwan and the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China.
1950s:
New Agencies of Interest was created with the help of the Soviet’s Iron Initiative. The People’s Liberation Army was already acquainted with anomalies during WW2 and saw limited usage of them against Japanese forces (Chinese Relics and Soviet-supplied weapons), their anomalous forces was then consolidated into the PLA’s Special Directorate.
(Vapor?)The People’s Committee for the Acquisition of Anomalous Objects was originally a largely-research-based group that focuses on the research and reclamation of artifacts that is thought to have been the heritage of the Chinese culture.
1950s:
RPC-332 was discovered. Authority monitor efforts were hampered by the Chinese government [RPC-332]
25 June, 1950 – 27 July, 1953:
The Korean War occurred. Parties involved used their anomaly reserve to support the war. The Iron Initiative attempted to de escalate PLASD's involvement but by the time agreement has been made the UNAAC intervened and forcefully dissolved the Special Directorate for violating Provision 1 of the Brussels Convention and arrested its key figures.
The concurrent invasion of Tibet also activated RPC-348. Attempts to kidnap RPC-████ failed and he was evacuated from Tibet on March 17, 1959. MST Tango-12 continues to support resistance/independence movements to this day. [MST Tango-12]
With no other alternative, the PCAAO is now looked towards as the premier Agency of China. All prior funds for the Special Directorate are redirected into PCAAO as well as the incorporation of SD personnel. The hijack of PCAAO by former leaders of SD (those that weren’t apprehended) quickly militarized the organization, leading to contradictions within the agency in many fields that became more apparent in the modern times. The humiliation of PLA also sews tension between the 2 groups.
This merger also brought the group, whom prior to this enjoyed relative degrees of freedom to operate, into the folds of the State Council as well as the Poli Bureau.
1960s-1970s:
Initiatives began to expel Agency influences in mainland China, including that of the Authority and Iron Initiative (though to a lesser extent). Facilities established in the 1900s discovered by the PCAAO would be systematically purged and ransacked of its anomalies. The effects were mostly mitigated by the early preparations to allocate most anomalies from near-coast Sites. Sites in Tibet and Xinjiang remained mostly untouched due to their remote location.

PCAAO documentation is reorganized, all anomalies are given numbers and would be designated chronologically.
1968:
Person of Interest “Lorelei” went to the [REDACTED] metal-works factory in ████████ and commenced the construction of RPC-743 supposedly “under the orders of Mao Zedong”. [RPC-743]
February, 1976:
The Asian Regional Command decided to mobilize Authority units to Jiangsu Province to retrieve the entire population of RPC-███. The retrieval force is intercepted by PCAAO’s Anomaly Guard forces and is repelled. The Board intervened to prevent further mishandling of Authority resources and assets, this ended much of Authority’s active engagement with PCAAO and the Chinese government. The fate of RPC-███ is unclear.
July, 1976:
Blue Dawn Event occurs. RPC-399 annihilated PCAAO army groups sent to confront it. [RPC-399]
28 July, 1976:
The Great Tangshan earthquake was triggered as a result of Authority mishandling of RPC-041. [RPC-041]
1978:
(Vapor) Mekong River Conflict occurs, sparking hostility between PCAAO and the Omega Iota. Attempts at removing OI influence is ongoing.
7 February, 1979 – 16 March, 1979:
Sino-Vietnamese War occurs. The loss of PCAAO forces and subsequent amount deployed to contain and research the BDE site(RPC-399) strains PLA capacity and results in a Viet Cong victory over the Chinese.
1980s:
PLA demobilized, resulting in withdrawal support for PCAAO. A single motorised division was however given to the PCAAO. This division, renamed the Mobile Formation, became PCAAO’s equivalent of MSTs and gave them a lot more independence for anomaly engagement/retrieval operations.
21 September, 1984:

Site-038 is established (or found) as the primary facility to contain anomalies as well as being a forward base for operations against PCAAO. [Site-038]

Covert conflict broke out in the Kashmir region. Both the Indian National Defense Initiative for the Reclamation of Anomalies and PCAAO deployed heavy usage of anomalies in the event.
1991:
The Soviet Union collapses.
1992-2003:
PCAAO began efforts in retrieving anomalies formerly belonging to the Iron Initiative. PCAAO expands their influence into Central Asia, continuing until the formation of Ministry of Defense via Paranormality by Vladimir Putin.
1992:
Reports of a released biological chemical that caused civilians to turn into purple like-crystal prompted the deployment of ISA Assault Strike Teams into Hong Kong. It was later revealed that a Chinese terrorist group was behind the anomaly attacks.
1990s:

1999:
The 5th Authority-Commission Gulangyu Talks(《第五次管理局-委员会鼓浪屿会谈》) took place in Fujian Province, delegates signs the Memorandum on Anomalous Management and Application Collaboration (《异常管理和应用协作备忘录》 ), allowing the establishment of new Authority Sites within mainland China.
20 December, 1999:
Macau is returned to Chinese control.
2000:
“Tanker Incident” occurred in Yunnan. Conclusion of the event saw greater ties to the local administration and the Committee
9 July, 2004:
