Registered Phenomena Code: XXX
Object Class: Beta-Yellow Neutralized
Hazard Types: Sentient Hazard, Teleportation Hazard, Memory Alteration Hazard
Containment Protocols: On ██/██/20██, RPC-XXX died due to natural causes and has been reclassified as Neutralized.
RPC-XXX is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment room. RPC-XXX must be checked once a day. A surveillance camera is to be kept and maintained functional in its room.
Update: Due to the recent discovery where RPC-XXX seems to possesses some sort of memory alteration capability, security measures have been updated. The specifics regarding RPC-XXX's properties are to be posted on its cell door. Additionally, memos are to be regularly circulated and re-briefed to ASF security personnel in order to ensure that staff are carrying out containment protocol properly.
In the case of RPC-XXX disappears, due to RPC-XXX presumed manifestation pattern, personnel must check ███████ city or ██████ city which is located east of Site-079. Once RPC-XXX is found, it must be brought back to the site.
Personnel must avoid using physical harm toward RPC-XXX for any reason at all for the safety of themself and other personnel as well. In case of physical harm is required to be applied to RPC-XXX(for experimentation, as an example) by the personnel, personnel that executes said harm must be harmed by other available personnel immediately to not trigger any RPC-XXX anomalous effect.
Description: RPC-XXX is a human male of European descent in its mid-60s, standing at 178 centimeters and weighing 68 kilograms. RPC-XXX has never stated its name, but it prefers to be called by its RPC designation. RPC-XXX wears a torn dark grey shirt and jeans. Despite being given a standard uniform to replace its clothes, it has consistently refused.
RPC-XXX was formerly a street beggar before it came under Authority custody. Despite its conditions, it does not require any food, water, or medicine to live. Surgery on RPC-XXX has found that its internal organs are non-anomalous. When asked why it used to be a street beggar, RPC-XXX stated that it wanted to "remain unnoticed"1.
If RPC-XXX does not engage in social interaction with an individual who is familiar with them for more than 24 hours, it will vanish and re-manifest at the nearest populated area at midnight. Individuals are categorized as familiar with RPC-XXX if they can describe their physical description and personality. RPC-XXX cannot control the location of its manifestations. However, an observation in the pattern of RPC-XXX's recent manifestations indicates that it manifests near populated areas on the east side of its' previous location.
RPC-XXX's secondary anomalous properties will manifest when it's physically harmed. Anyone who physically harms RPC-XXX will receive a harmful incident less than 24 hours after they damaged it. These effects range from minor injury to catastrophic events that are fatal to the individual, sometimes even causing the fatalities of those in close proximity to said individual. Though the current hypothesis is that the severity of the reprisal correlates with the severity of physical damage sustained by RPC-XXX, these events are sometimes inconsistent. In some case studies, retaliatory damage significantly escalated or decreased in terms of scope or scale2. RPC-XXX does not try to retaliate or defend itself from physical harm applied to it, possibly due to its age factor, and seems to resignedly accept it.
RPC-XXX's third anomalous attributes are anti-memetic. When RPC-XXX does not manifest for 15 days, individuals who recognize RPC-XXX will start to forget its existence until reminded about it. This will damage the containment protocol. This act could be done by describing RPC-XXX, whether it is done verbally or written. From the 15th day up to the next 15 days later, the anti-memetic effect will become more severe, starting from it affect more than one individual up to multiple pieces of information mentioned about RPC-XXX will suddenly disappear. On the 30th days, refer to Addendum II.
Discovery: RPC-XXX first brought to the attention of the Authority on 28/02/2007 in ██████, Southeast Asia. RPC-XXX got arrested by local police at 11:27 P.M local time. When the local police checked on RPC-XXX in the morning, the cell is empty. Surveillance camera placed on its cell shown that it had demanifested from its jail cell into the nearest crowded area. An embedded Authority agent inside of the police station notified Authority officials. A group of field agents eventually found an individual matching RPC-XXX's description sat on the sidewalk of the road and detained it. RPC-XXX was brought to the nearest Authority facility for questioning.
Interviewed: RPC-XXX
Interviewer: Dr. N. Mariah
Foreword: Interview conducted in Site-██. The purpose of the interview is to understand more about RPC-XXX anomalous attributes.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Mariah: Alright, everything's set. Now, please state your name for the interview.
RPC-XXX: [Brief silence]
Dr. Mariah: Sir? Could you please state your name for the interview?
RPC-XXX: I… rather not. Call me anything you want.
Dr. Mariah: Okay, how about I refer to you as RPC-XXX? Is that alright with you?
RPC-XXX: That's fine.
Dr. Mariah: Alright. Now, could you tell me about your background? Family and things like that?
RPC-XXX: I- [Subject was about to say something, but suddenly went silent and lowered its head. A few moments later, RPC-XXX answered.] I'm nobody important.
Dr. Mariah: That's doesn't really give me much clue, though. But that's okay if you don't want to tell it for now. Atleast, Could you tell me how you ended up being a street beggar at ██████? As you clearly don't appear to be from Asia, I guess.
RPC-XXX: I travel a lot, from one city to the next. As I said, I'm really nobody important. just want to… remain unnoticed.
Dr. Mariah: Speaking of traveling, that kinda interests me here. You arrested by the local police at 11 PM local time, right?
RPC-XXX: Yes, being held up by them is not a pleasant experience in my life, but not the worst too.
Dr. Mariah: Now, Exactly at midnight, based on the CCTV footage, you suddenly disappear from the police station and presumed to immediately appear in the ██████ city, which located on the east side of ██████ city. The footage on the CCTV there only shows that you simply "vanished" from your jail cell. The police were mighty worried they might have captured an escape artist. Can you tell me how can you do that? Is there some sort of trick that you did?
RPC-XXX: I'm afraid I don't know. There's no trick, I just… appear there. it's nice to see new places, you know? I don't mind about it.
Dr. Mariah: RPC-XXX, what you do here is literally what is called teleportation. Something that still not possible to be done by a normal person and until now could only be theorized. How could you have such abilities to do that?
RPC-XXX: I can't explain it either.
Dr. Mariah: Okay then. Is there anyone else who knows about your abilities other than us?
RPC-XXX: No. I do tried to talk to some people sometimes, stayed a while with them. But then I went to another new place with new people I don't recognize. I don't have the chance to tell anyone.
Dr. Mariah: [Brief Silence] Have you ever feel… lonely because of that?
RPC-XXX: Honestly, I do feel lonely sometimes. But what can I say. I guess I really am nobody.
Dr. Mariah: Well, from now you will be under our observation and research, so we can understand what causes this to occur. You will be live here from now on. Don't you worry, we will take care of you.
RPC-XXX: You don't really have to do that. Just lock me in one of your cells and forget me.
Dr. Mariah: Considering your anomalous attributes here and your age factor, And as I said before, You're gonna be under our care every day, so don't worry about anything.
RPC-XXX: [long silent] That's very kind of you for a beggar like me, stranger.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: RPC-XXX transported to Site-79 for further research.
Addendum I: 9 Hours after RPC-XXX transported to Site-079, the police office where RPC-XXX was held up accidentally burned down. 6 people died in the incident. RPC-XXX stated that it has nothing to do with the incident, but it does say that its experience there was "unpleased". Embedded Authority agent on the police station, who luckily survived, stated that RPC-XXX was knocked out by an officer for trying to escape and left locked up until manifested in another area.
Another incident occurred 5 hours after the surgery of RPC-XXX. One of the machines was exploded due to an electrical short circuit. Dr. J. Lynn, the surgeon of RPC-XXX receive a serious burn, while two of his assistant, L. Russel, and S. Catz receive minor wounds. All victim was sent to the medical bay immediately. These two incidents raise a question regarding RPC-XXX possible second anomalous attributes. The test was arranged shortly after.
Test Number: Test Log-XXX-1
Procedure: One CSD, CSD-3891, was sent to the testing chamber and physically strike RPC-XXX. Said CSD then returned to his cell
Results: 3 hours later, CSD-3891 accidentally stepped on a screw in his cell and wounded his feet. No other incident occurred for the rest of the day. Incident still cannot be determined to be caused by RPC-XXX or not.
Analysis: "We need to be more certain that this is really caused by RPC-XXX or it just one of CSD-3891's unlucky days." - Dr. J. Henwood.
Test Number: Test Log-XXX-2
Procedure: Two CSD, CSD-3892 and CSD-3893, were sent to the testing chamber and physically strike RPC-XXX. Both CSD then returned to their cell with only CSD-3893 who were guarded by two guards all the time.
Results: When CSD-3893, along with two guards with him, was about to return to the cell, a technical error in the electrical system error had caused a power surge, which resulted in a light bulb suddenly exploded in the room where CSD-3893 was, and hurt both CSD-3893 and one of the guards. 5 hours after this incident, CSD-3892 accidentally slipped in the bathroom and received serious head injuries.
Analysis: "This reinforces the possibility of whether when RPC-XXX is physically harmed, an incident will occur to the person that harmed RPC-XXX. But still, this is only a possibility. Incidents can happen anytime in this old facility. Now, I must be honest to you, I really hate to see that old man get beaten up.
He kept saying "It's alright", "This is necessary for you, right?", and other things like that to make me not feel bad, but god, I want to end these tests. But due to various considerations, we have to raise the CSD number for the next test to make things clear. I'm going to his cell to check his condition." - Dr. J. Henwood.
Test Number: Test Log-XXX-3
Procedure: Five CSD, CSD-3894,-3895,-3896,-3897, and -3898, were sent to the testing chamber and instructed to physically strike RPC-XXX.
Results: Two minutes after the test started, the testing was interrupted by Lead Researcher Dr. J. Henwood's protests, stating that "It's enough!", and requesting the cessation of the test. This was not approved by other personnel in the room who was about to use the room for another specimen after RPC-XXX, Senior Researcher Dr. Van Gordon. A debate occurred between the two of them whether the test should be continued or not. While this happens, the next specimen awaiting on the holding room, RPC-███, broke the restrain and breached containment. For more information, refer to Incident-███-2-log.
Analysis: "You [EXPLETIVE], Here's a [EXPLETIVE] suggestion for you, Houston, Make sure your damn [EXPLETIVE] wolf chained and guarded properly before debated with me. For your satisfaction, yes, I got the result. All CSD on the test tried to escape and shot immediately. This proves the second anomalous effect of RPC-XXX is true. Thank you for suggested me to continue beating him up until bad [EXPLETIVE] occurred. God, we are damn lucky that the poor man is still alive. I glad it all over. No more tests for now. I'm heading to the medical bay, they're currently checking RPC-XXX condition there." - Dr. J. Henwood.
Addendum II: After multiple tests being performed on RPC-XXX, RPC-XXX was left in its room until there was a new test. On 03/04/2007, RPC-XXX died due to natural causes. At that moment, all memories regarding RPC-XXX's existence were erased from all personnel's memories, except one.3. All documents mentioning RPC-XXX also disappeared, except for a few4. RPC-XXX's death was discovered 4 days later when there was a room checkup for a new specimen. When RPC-XXX's room was checked, RPC-XXX's corpse was found. At first, no one knew whose corpse it was, and after a few checks in the Authority database, multiple test entries with the designation RPC-XXX were discovered, all of them blank. It had been considered safe to assume that the corpse was of RPC-XXX, but due to the lack of reliable documentation, no conclusion could have been made.
On 09/04/2007, Dr. J. Henwood, the Lead Researcher of RPC-XXX who temporarily replaced Lead Researcher [REDACTED] in Site-██ for a few days, returned to Site-79 and asked about RPC-XXX's status. He was able to remember everything about RPC-XXX and somehow had unaffected RPC-XXX's documentation in his possession. An interview was conducted regarding this.
Interviewed: Dr. J. Henwood
Interviewer: Dr. Van Gordon
Foreword: Interview conducted to retrieve all the missing information regarding RPC-XXX after its death.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Van Gordon: Now, Henwood. Do you have any information regarding this… RPC-XXX?
Dr. J. Henwood: I seriously don't understand, Houston. I mean, you're there when we tested him! How can I be the only one who remembers him? I don't get it…
Dr. Van Gordon: That's why we conduct this interview. Now, is there any particular test that you did to it?
Dr. J. Henwood: No, everything was fine. No additional anomalous attributes were recorded besides those that already mentioned in the document.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright… Now, is there any particular thing that you did during your work in temporarily replacing the current lead researcher [REDACTED] on researching RPC-███ at Site-██?
Dr. J. Henwood: I assumed no, since RPC-███ has nothing to do with memory alteration.
Dr. Van Gordon: Okay then… How long you have been researching RPC-XXX?
Dr. J. Henwood: As I could tell, around 32 days. I'm the one who executes the containment protocol every day until March 29th5, when I had to go to Site-██.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, I guess that's all. You may leave now.
Dr. J. Henwood: Thanks.
[Dr. J. Henwood leaves the interview room]
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, my analysis here is that all RPC-XXX information were disappeared except to only one person. And that person is the one who interacted most with RPC-XXX, who in this case, is Dr. J. Henwood. He will be under observation for now.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: RPC-XXX are now reclassified as Neutralized. Dr. J. Henwood is now under observation.
Addendum III: On ██/04/2007, Senior Researcher Dr. J. Henwood arrange a meeting with Site Director ████████████ regarding RPC-XXX.
In Attendance:
Site Director: ████████████
Senior Researcher: Dr. J. Henwood
<Begin Log>
████████████: Ah, Dr. Henwood. Come in. Have a seat.
Dr. J. Henwood: Thank you.
████████████: So, Jones, why do you wish to meet me today?
Dr. J. Henwood: I have something to show, I… I should have given this sooner, but… [Brief silence] I actually receive a letter from RPC-XXX, the person that all of you had somehow forgotten.
████████████: Hold on, RPC-XXX… [Site Director ████████████ proceed to check the database for a moment] Oh, that beggar? You're the lead researcher of it, right? When did you receive that letter?
Dr. J. Henwood: I receive it when I became a temporary lead researcher on Site-██. It anomalously appears on my desk that morning. I silently did a crosscheck and this letter appears one day before RPC-XXX death. [Dr. J. Henwood proceed to give the site director said letter]
████████████: [While reading the letter] So why didn't you give this letter along with other documents about RPC-XXX before?
Dr. J. Henwood: I… I don't know why… I just cared about him. I know he kept pushing everyone away from him, but I know there's a reason about this. He never told anything about his life, but I damn know he's been through many things in his life. And then he…
Dr. J. Henwood: [brief silence] …And this is his last letter before his death… I just feel I want to keep this for myself.
████████████: [Nod while reading the letter's content] Yes, I could see that… You seem to be a special person for him. No wonder you the only one who didn't affect by RPC-XXX last anomalous abilities. So, why did you finally want to give this letter?
Dr. J. Henwood: The writing behind it, they appeared last night. I surprised when I read it in the morning.
████████████: [Site Director ████████████ immediately proceeded to flip the letter and read the content of it.]
[THE FOLLOWING CONVERSATION CLASSIFIED AS RESTRICTED DATA. LEVEL 5 CLEARANCE ONLY]
████████████: …and mass amnestification like this would damaged other research as well.
Dr. J. Henwood: We could ask them to document their research first before that. You must consider this decision, sir. It's not like it's the worst thing that you've ever authorized before!
████████████: Alright, alright don't bring that up again. [Site Director ████████████ remains silent for a few minutes while staring at the letter] So, this containment protocol you proposed is our only chance.
Dr. J. Henwood: Yes, if they intended to finish this sentence, atleast we're ready. And please amnestic me so I won't gonna remember this conversation.
████████████: Are you really sure?
[Dr. J. Henwood has been anmesticated]

Front Letter Content:
To the stranger I've met,
I requested a paper and a pencil from the guard so I could write this letter to you, then asked someone to send this to you wherever you are.
My time here is getting short, you have finally taken care of me for 30 days. Sure at first you and I are both strangers for each other, but then, many kindnesses that you've shown to me. At last, tonight my mind is now cleaner, no more urge to push anyone away. I could finally be somebody after so long.
This is everything I know about myself, I remember I was a businessman in London during the 90s. Everyone knows me. I'm somebody important. Then there came that night, I'm not sure what really happens, things are black. Then there I am sat on the street, keep moving every night, avoid everyone. I want to tell everyone about this, but there's something in me that keeps preventing me to do that. Something scrambled my mind and made me avoid contact with everyone I'd met. I was a test for others, will they remember and keep struggle to remember? But tonight, after so many years, 30 days has completed. I did what they want, you have proved that there is still kindness for even a stranger in this world. The question has been answered, I could finally die, and I could do that with a smile.
He leaves all his memories only to you, let his life and death remain unnoticed by the rest that not even a comet were seen when the beggar dies. But I do warn you, this is not over. The sentence did not end on that part. The beggar ends here, but not the prince. There will be a time when others will remember and must forget. Including you. I hope you read often, because a sentence, a story, is meant to be finished so you get the moral of the story.
From,
the beggar you've met.

"There was this one case when a personnel spontaneously ordered one of the burned RPC-376-1 to extinguish the fire in his body with that standard procedure during a minor breach on RPC-376-1's containment area. Miraculously, he[RPC-376-1] obeyed. Presumably, they still got the sanity to do it. That's why the personnel are still required to try this method as well."

Registered Phenomena Code: 376
Object Class: Beta-Red
Hazard Types: Aggression Hazard, Grouped Hazard, Sapient Hazard, Sentient Hazard, Contact Hazard, Mind-Control Hazard, Mind-Regression Hazard, Organic
Containment Protocols: All 32 instances of RPC-376 must be kept in standard humanoid containment chambers within their own specialized sector at Site-079. Check-up on the chamber for damage must be done daily. All RPC-376 instances should be fed twice per day; only stews, soups, and other high-liquid meals are to be provided on aluminium cutlery. These substances must be served warm to avoid rejection from RPC-376. Sustenance must be delivered through the food slot on the door only. Retrieval of the cutlery must be done by professionally trained personnel only.
RPC-376 has been divided into three different types based on their physical appearance, designated as RPC-376-1 to -3, for the convenience of the personnel. Each type requires a slightly different handling method. As for this, RPC-376's containment zone is divided into three areas:
- The RPC-376-1's containment area currently consists of 2 instances of RPC-376-1. A psychological evaluation will be done once a week on each RPC-376-1 instance.
- The RPC-376-2's containment area currently consists of 21 instances of RPC-376-2. No unnecessary conversation is to take place with RPC-376-2 specimens.
- The RPC-376-3's containment currently consists of 9 instances of RPC-376-3. Personnel must remain cautious when nearby RPC-376-3 specimens. While within the RPC-376-3 sector of the containment zone, all untrained personnel must be escorted by no less than two ASF personnel. All vocalizations that come from RPC-376-3 are to be ignored.
Absolutely no flammable materials should be in RPC-376's containment zone. In case of fire, the flame is to be extinguished by any means necessary, optimally with the provided fire extinguisher. Should an RPC-XXX-1 instance catch on fire, they are to be instructed in the protocol to put out the flame6 while personnel are to use the fire extinguisher to put them out. Should an instance of RPC-376-2 or -3 come into contact with fire, they are to be terminated immediately and kept away from other RPC-376 instances.
In case of a mass breach, activate the fire sprinkler to limit the escaping RPC-376's movement and to aid the ASF's efforts on re-containing them. The usage of large amounts of water is effective in a mass termination of RPC-376. In urgent circumstances, and with the site director's approval, evacuate one or a few instances of RPC-376, either RPC-376-1(priority) or -2, and flood the whole containment zone.
In the case of a sudden large-scale population reduction, which may occur due to a mass breach, and the number of any RPC-376 specimen type falling below 5, the decision to either increase the number using CSD personnel or leave the number of specimens as-is must be discussed as soon as possible.
In case of any personnel with the clearance level above level 2 become an RPC-376 instance, they are to be terminated immediately.
"I must state that these personnel are a security risk as they are willing to spill confidential information for a spark of fire in return any time. Thus, such action must be taken for the safety of the rest of the personnel. You will not be punished if you have the right reason."
Assistant Site Director of Site-079, Dr. Stephen Strider. 1998.
Description: RPC-376 is the designation given to a collective of humanoid entities whose physical appearance is largely identical to non-anomalous human beings, save for the universal presence of burns of varying severity throughout each instance's body, with the most common being third-degree type.
RPC-376 instances all exhibit traits of pyromania;7 whether unconsciously or actively, they constantly seek sources of fire and attempt to self-immolate. Instances have shown great pain tolerance towards fire-inflicted damage.
Fire that comes into direct contact with RPC-376 is designated as RPC-376-Alpha. When in contact with non-anomalous human beings, RPC-376-Alpha spreads on their skins at an accelerated rate of more than 50%, settling even faster on the already-burned areas. Said individual will undergo multiple changes that match with RPC-376 instance properties, thus are designated as it. If RPC-376-Alpha spreads to any property nearby, including other fire sources, the flames generated from such contact will retain all of RPC-376-Alpha's anomalous properties, thus will fall under its designation.
RPC-376's skin has never been observed to progress past third-degree burns, even when repeatedly exposed to extreme temperatures. It assumed that it becomes resistant against fire-inflicted damage to this degree. However, it will acquire a lower degree of burns unimpeded. Attempts to cremate RPC-376's instance corpse are currently impossible. However, corrosive substances are capable of damaging their body.
RPC-376, using Wallace rule of nine8, is classified into three instances:
RPC-376-1 is the designation given to individuals who've come in contact with RPC-376-Alpha for the first time until around 18% of their bodies burned by RPC-376-Alpha. They can still control their behaviour and no abnormal speech patterns have been observed. If around a fire, flammable material, or any fire-making tool, they will subconsciously try to ignite and set themselves on fire. If managed to be halted, they cannot recall their action previously.
RPC-376-2 is the designation given to individuals with 19% up to 63% of their bodies burned by RPC-376-Alpha. RPC-376-2 actively and consciously seeks out fire and flammable material at all times. They only communicating with the end goal is to attain said object. Upon question, their reasoning is that the burned area on their bodies giving them a painful sensation and that it can only be nullified by setting it on fire. The aggressiveness of RPC-376-2 is directly proportional to the percentage of their body that has suffered burns, with their intelligence and problem-solving capabilities decreasing accordingly.
RPC-376-3 is the designation given to individuals which 64% up to 100% of their bodies burned by RPC-376-Alpha; the designation also applies to individuals whose heads have been entirely burned by RPC-376-Alpha. They are only capable of simple communication, producing one or two words only in a conversation. Their speech usually revolves around demanding fire and complaints of unspecific pain they feel on their bodies.
They spent most of their time lying on the floor, often vocalized in distress. While capable of cooperation with other RPC-376 instances(despite only using a simple form of communication), they only demonstrate basic problem-solving capabilities, although remaining able to identify and successfully employ any fire-making tool.
They are capable of locating flammable liquid such as alcohol and gasoline within one meter distance if said object is not kept inside an air-tight place. This assumed to be done via tracking its scent. Despite the severity of their skin condition, affected areas appear sterile and impenetrable by microorganisms. Furthermore, internal organs remain unaffected by heat.
If sodium bicarbonate9, water, or any type of treatment for burns are applied to the burns area on RPC-376’s body, they will express a great amount of pain. RPC-376-3 instances that remain in contact with sufficient amounts of water are eventually terminated. Expose to the environment with the temperature 0°C or lower for more than 5 minutes also capable of terminating them.
RPC-376-Alpha appears to grant RPC-376 heightened resistance to physical damage when fully covered in it, being particularly apparent in RPC-376-3 instances.
Discovery: RPC-376 came to Authority attention on ██/12/1997 in [REDACTED], North Dakota. Reports came regarding multiple arsons committed on 11:24 P.M local time by what reported as several arsonists covered in fire. By 01:03 A.M, the number of suspects with similar descriptions was enough to make Authority investigate the aforementioned location.
The Authority personnel arrived at 02:46 A.M. The buildings on the town’s outer side were still undamaged, meaning that the fire originated deep inside the town's center and haven't reached the outer area yet. Authority personnel started to encounter several burned buildings when they went further into the town’s center.
Forward: The following is a footage recorded by Agent A. Becker during their operation in the area:
[Footage begins with a view of the area. Smoke rises from several charred buildings. Three agents can be seen in front of the recording agent.]
Agent H. Dawson: Is that on, Andreas? Good. We are now getting close to the town center. Remember to keep your eyes open.
Agent H. Dawson: Don’t let the fire touch you. If your clothes are in contact with the fire, discard them immediately.
Agent H. Dawson: William! Don't immediately kill them! We need some of them alive, do you understand?
Agent W. Schulz: It’s called self-defense, okay! I don't know the moment we passed the first block, they ambushed us! Even Andy wasn't prepared for the equipment yet. He was already running next to me and when I realized it, he already dropped me to the ground. I could've died!
Agent H. Dawson: Situation is getting worst in each minute. That is why I told you to focus!
Agent N. Schulz: Just listen to what Harrick said now, Will. This is not a good time to cause a fight.
Agent W. Schulz: Tch. Fine. But don’t stop me if he wants to, man.
[Two minutes has passed]
Agent D. Walter: Can I ask about something?
Agent S. Blake: Just ask, kid. If I'm not wrong, this is your second time on the field, right?
Agent D. Walter: It's my third, actually, if you count that one breach. Anyways, regarding this mission, why don't we just… make it rain? Use the aircraft to shut the fire down with tons of water?
Agent A. Becker: It's not the fire which becomes the problem, but the person who did this is. I've heard the fire in the town's center managed to be extinguished before, but new building around it keeps burning. Eventually, the town's center burned again. That's why our mission is to sweep the area and take down any arsonists on sight. Is that clear?
Agent D. Walter: …Has anyone catch one of these guys? Like, interrogate them or something?
Agent S. Blake: Well, add that to our to-do list once we catch one. Probably some cult of something, trying to summon a demon by burning the entire town.
Agent A. Becker: That's not correct. It is confirmed that these arsonists are random pedestrians that comes in contact with the fire.
Agent S. Blake: Let just see about that.
[Seven minutes later, two civilians can be seen running towards the team. They are fully covered in fire.]
Agent H. Dawson: Two targets in front! Open fire!
[All team members shoot the two civilians. No effects are shown. The two civilians continue to charge toward the team.]
Agent S. Blake: They are still alive!
Agent H. Dawson: Fall back! Fall back!
Agent D. Walter: That- This is impossible!
Agent W. Schulz: Shit!
[All personnel retreat from the scene. However, the sound of someone's fall can be heard in the background. The camera turns around for a moment, one civilian manages to grab Agent William Schulz’s leg while the others keep chasing the rest of the personnel. Three more civilians appeared, fully covered in fire as well. The camera turns back to another direction.]
Agent W. Schulz: (In the background) Shit! It got me! It got my right leg! Get it off!
[Agent Harrick Dawson and Agent Norman Schulz turn around and go in the opposite direction until they are outside the camera view.]
Agent H. Dawson: (In the background) Go! Keep running!
[Camera moving again, all three agents began running]
Agent S. Blake: The hell are they chasing us for???
Agent A. Becker: You can choose to turn around and ask them why or you can shut your mouth and keep running!
Agent D. Walter: Where are we going now?
Agent S. Blake: Calm down, okay! Andy, any option?
Agent A. Becker: We'll try- Wait, that one! The door's open!
[Multiple gunshots can be heard in the background along with several loud incomprehensible noises]
Agent D. Walter: What's that?!
Agent S. Blake: Save your ass first, kid! Keep running!
[A moment later. The rest of the team manages to hide inside an empty two-story building.]
Agent A. Becker: Alright now. Wait, the rest of the team still hasn't arrived yet.
Agent S. Blake: Wai- Shit, I have a bad feeling about this… I'll check, standby.
[Agent Simon Blake went out of the camera view.]
Agent S. Blake: (In the background) Harrick?! What the fuck are you doing?! (Returned to Agent A. Becker) Harrick and Norman still on the street, seem to be fighting each other! I saw Norman fell down!
Agent A. Becker: What? Let me-
[Agent Harrick joins the rest of the team, immediately closed the door.]
Agent A. Becker: Sir? You alright? What’s happening out there?
Agent H. Dawson: [Panting] I… I shot Will. He came into contact with fire and we… we can’t take any risk. Of course, Norman attacked me immediately. Now help me move this table!
Agent A. Becker: What the hell?? How about Norman?
Agent S. Blake: Wait, you fucking shot Will?? And you beat up Norman as well?? What the fuck is wrong with you??
Agent D. Walter: God, is that really necessary??
Agent H. Dawson: I… I’ll deal with Norman later. Just calm down, alright! The most important thing right now is that we must figure out how to kill these things! Bullets have no effect, and they are getting near to the safe zone.
Agent S. Blake: At least get Norman here, damnit! Fuck you, I'll go-
Agent H. Dawson: Don't you dare try to get outside, Simon! I can't lose another of my man anymore! Andreas, any ideas?
Agent A. Becker: Alright, alright… Hold on… Well, uhh… from what I saw, it seems that if these things got fully covered in fire, they become immune to our bullets. I… I guess that we have to do something about the fire covering them, I think…
Agent H. Dawson: Water? That means we have to return to-
[Banging sound can be heard, the source appears to come from the door]
Agent H. Dawson: You got to be kidding me! [Move closer to the door] Who's outside?
[Multiple banging sounds can be heard, Agent Harrick Dawson reflectively shot the door once. Moments later, he carefully looks at the bullet hole he made on the door.]
Agent H. Dawson: As I suspect, we got two hostiles so far, they knew we're here. I think they're the ones who chased me before. This door began to feel warm, shit. It's burning on their side, I assume.
Agent A. Becker: Fully covered? Should we start shooting now, sir?
Agent H. Dawson: Fully covered. And don't shoot! We're dead meat if that piece of wood torn down. [Looks around] Simon, go there and see if there's any water source and bring it here! Use some buckets or something to carry it. Derek, go Help him as well
Agent S. Blake: On it!
[Agent Simon Blake and Agent Derek Walter were out of the camera view. A few moments later they returned with three buckets of water]
Agent S. Blake: We're having a water shortage, Harrick. The sink's not working, and neither any taps on the restroom. No more water left here.
Agent H. Dawson: Those should be more than enough. Andreas, come here! We're removing the blockade! You two, pour them the moment they get inside!
Agent H. Dawson: Pull this table on the count of three, got it? One, two three!
[Agent Harrick Dawson and Agent Andreas Becker pulled the table, two civilians, fully covered in fire, charged in immediately. The rest of the personnel poured the water on them. The two civilians vocalized in distress.]
Agent S. Blake: There's still some fire left and it's spreading damn fast like their bodies are now made of gasoline, only one bucket left for one of them.
Agent H. Dawson: Pour it on this one and shoot that one! We can only save one.
[Agent Simon Blake poured the rest of the bucket on one of the civilians, which managed to fully extinguish the fire on the subject, while Agent Andreas Becker shot the other one]
Agent H. Dawson: Alright, step aside, I'll interrogate this fucker. Hey! Speak up! Do you understand what I'm saying?
Civilian: [Groan]
Agent H. Dawson: Answer me! Say something, damnit!
Civilian: …Hurt! Must spread! Need! [Subject immediately charged toward Agent Harrick Dawson, who immediately restrained by the rest of the personnel]
Agent H. Dawson: God, it feels like I'm talking to a fucking caveman-
Agent A. Becker: Sir, look! The fire began to spread on that door!
Agent H. Dawson: Fuck! We're returning to the base! And bring him along! At least we got one spe-
[Subject went aggressive and attacked Agent Andreas Becker. It's grabbed the camera and footage was cut; personnel claimed that the camera was broken at that point.]

The Authority managed to detain around 46 instances of RPC-376, consisting of 12 instances of RPC-376-3 and 34 instances of RPC-376-2, and terminate around 89 instances of RPC-376, varying from RPC-376-2 and RPC-376-3. Multiple civilians on [REDACED] town who clearly witnessed RPC-376 have been amnesticized and the entire town population has been convinced that the cause of the fire was a group of gangsters who now has been arrested.
Incident 376-1: RPC-376 instances were supposed to be contained on Site-███ in the state of [REDACED], but several instances of RPC-376-2 managed to set one of the Authority’s vehicles on fire and escaped from Authority's custody. This incident increased the total amount of RPC-376 into 57 1██ instances, excluding any civilians who were possibly affected by the escaped RPC-376 instances. This including all civilians who were turned into RPC-376 instances by the escaped RPC-376. It took around sixteen hours one day and four hours for the Authority to successfully controlled the situation again. Due to the difficulty in transferring RPC-376 to the nearest site, they contained on what previously a local institution facility located in North Dakota, before it's turned into an Authority facility, now known as Site-079.
Addendum 376-1: One day after the discovery, an investigation on RPC-376’s origin was conducted. The investigation started by locating the origin of RPC-376 in the [REDACTED] town, North Dakota, in which the source of the fire allegedly came from the northeast outskirts of the town.
Profound research on the remains of burnt housing in the area revealed one interesting revelation. One house is completely burned that not only there isn't a single remnant of the building left, but the ground in and near the area is completely black from the fire. the investigation revealed that it was long abandoned. After a further sweep, personnel found several small white fragments around the area, which after examination turned out to be the remains of human bones. It is ambiguously assumed that the owner of these bones was somehow exploded, leaving only their bones. Identification of the individuals owning these bone fragments has been proven impossible due to the lack of further evidence.
Near the house front yard, several faint footprints were found on the soil. Judging by the direction, size, and shape of each one, there are possibly 6 individuals owning these footprints, all headed to the town's center direction before being untraceable as they approached the street. 5 individuals, based on the distance of the footprints they made, were presumed to be running, while 1 individual seems to be walking instead. Identification of these individuals has proven difficult due to the likelihood that these individuals are the first instances of RPC-376-3, and therefore might have already been terminated since initial containment. Cross-checking with the identity of the corpses of RPC-376 instances and their background is still ongoing.
Incident 376-2: During a test with RPC-376-Alpha instance, the lead researcher, Dr. █. ███████’s left index finger accidentally came into contact with the RPC-376-Alpha and received a minor burn. Current protocol at that moment declared that he must be contained in an isolation chamber. However, he constantly insisted that he's in optimal condition to continue leading the project. An interview was carried out to corroborate his statement.
Interviewed: Dr. █. ███████
Interviewer: Dr. Houston van Gordon
Foreword: Interview conducted to ensure that Dr. █. ███████ is in a stable condition.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, let’s begin. Dr. ████ ███████, correct?
Dr. ███████: Just ████. Your name is Houston, right?
Dr. Van Gordon: Formality is required in this interview, sir. I hope you cooperate with this.
Dr. ███████: Ah, alright. First time got interviewed, mistakes are common, eh?
Dr. Van Gordon: Depends, but you are experienced personnel, sir. Though that you will act more professional.
Dr. ███████: I think a few fine conversations won't do a harm, good doctor. We are not fixed to do everything by the book as a human, Houston. Am I correct?
Dr. Van Gordon: I'm sorry. But we're getting off the topic, sir.
Dr. ███████: Ah yes, you may ask what you need to know, doctor.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, first of all, when do you first assigned to Site-079?
Dr. ███████: One week after RPC-376 brought here. Can't believe they built a site out of an asylum for the sake of these fellas. You're an ex-staff here or transfer as well?
Dr. Van Gordon: …Transfer, sir.
Dr. ███████: Yeah, I do guess so. I've met those ex-staffs. Do you know how they feel when they now work for an international secret organization?
Dr. Van Gordon: Ehem, the topic, sir.
Dr. ███████: Oh yes, sorry.
Dr. Van Gordon: Now then, how long have you been the lead researcher of RPC-376?
Dr. █. ███████: Since I got assigned here, of course. Now, let me explain something about this anomaly. I’ve run multiple tests with it and I found out that the person affected with RPC-376 is divided into two types10. RPC-376-1, which body does not fully receive burn damage, and RPC-376-2 which body is fully covered in burn damage. The more burn damage RPC-376-1 receives, the more dangerous they become.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, now. Regarding that burn on your finger. Do you feel any unusual sensation?
Dr. █. ███████: Actually, there is. In this area, it feels numb. Like when you touch an ice cube for a long time. That's how I best describing it.
Dr. Van Gordon: [Pointing at Dr. █. ███████'s left hand] So that means you are affected by RPC-376-Alpha, right?
Dr. █. ███████: [Laughing] This? This small wound won’t do anything! You need to be nearly half-burned by RPC-376-Alpha to start acting weird and demanding fire all the time. Ask all my assistants and look at all my writings if you don't believe me.
Dr. Van Gordon: We'll see about that. Now, what's happening next is that we will proceed to observe you for the next few days to reassuring your condition. You'll be placed in an isolated cell for now, as per the procedure. We'll meet again tomorrow, doctor. Do you have any complaints about that?
Dr. █. ███████: None, doctor. I will humbly comply with it. Hope that I can work soon enough.
Dr. Van Gordon: [Mutter] Can't be sure about that. [Brief silence, paper shuffling can be heard] Anyways, I will make this clear one more time before we conclude our session, are you sure that you are completely fine and capable to work?
Dr. █. ███████: Yes. Yes, I can assure you.
Dr. Van Gordon: Fine then, we will observe you for the following days to make sure of it before allowing you back to work. Maybe they'll update the CP later. This interview is now over. Thank you for your cooperation. [Pulling out a lighter and a box of cigarette]
[Dr. █. ███████ standing for a few moments while staring at Dr. Van Gordon’s lighter.]
Dr. Van Gordon: Something wrong?
Dr. █. ███████: Can… can I have one?
Dr. Van Gordon: Since when did you start smoking, ████? [Put the lighter back to his pocket.]
Dr. █. ███████: Ah, no. What am I saying? Sorry. Wait, how did you know I never smoke.
Dr. Van Gordon: …I never seen you do it before.
Dr. █. ███████: Fine then. Well, have a good day, Houston.
[Dr. █. ███████ proceed to exit the room. Door shut]
Dr. █. ███████: …How and why the hell can he be my senior… Ah yes, the recording. Always forge-

Closing Statement: Dr. █. ███████ has been placed in an isolation cell for a week in order to observe any unusual behaviour.
At 01:24 A.M on the 4th day of Isolation, Dr. █. ███████ cut his index finger which contacted by RPC-376-Alpha using his own teeth. The noises he made alerted the ASF personnel stationed nearby and brought him to the medical ward for treatment. The follow-up to this was discussed in the following interview.
Interviewed: Dr. █. ███████
Interviewer: Dr. Houston van Gordon
Foreword: Interview was conducted on regular time with the topic is to understand the motivation behind Dr. █. ███████'s action
<Begin Log>
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, hello, Dr. ████. How is your condition so far.
Dr. ███████: Honestly, not too good before. But I feel better now.
Dr. Van Gordon: Hmm… Regarding that, mind explaining it, sir?
Dr. ███████: I must be honest to you, Houston. I've been feeling an awful sensation on my index finger since the first night in the isolation cell. At first, it wasn't that bad, but it getting worse every day.
Dr. ███████: Then last night, I woke up at midnight feeling cold and weak, especially on my left arm. I almost can't feel my fingers here. I can't think straight that time, so my first thought is that I'll die if this numbness spread all over my body. That's why I cut it off immediately. I can feel my fingers afterward, so I assuming that it's the right thing to do.
Dr. Van Gordon: Interesting. Uhm… Why didn't you call the guards for assistance? You know you must report this immediately.
Dr. ███████: I know, but that's the first thing that came to my mind.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright then. So, no more complaints about it? Do you feel alright now?
Dr. ███████: Yes, I'm fine now.
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright then, we'll talk again tomorrow. This interview is over.
Dr. ███████: One more thing,
Dr. Van Gordon:Hm? What is it?
Dr. ███████: Can you put a heater or something warm on my cell? It's really cold there, I'm telling you
Dr. Van Gordon: What? You remember the protocol, right? No heat source exists near the RPC-376 Containment zone. I even just realized by now that I accidentally violate the containment protocol by brought in my lighter down here.
Dr. ███████: Just bring it. Nobody knows anyway.
Dr. Van Gordon: And why would you care about it?
Dr. ███████: No, no. I don't. Just saying.
Dr. Van Gordon: …Are you really sure that you're alright, sir?
Dr. █. ███████: Yes, didn't I tell you that already?
Dr. Van Gordon: Alright. Fine. Just reassuring.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Dr. █. ███████ carried out the isolation for the rest of the week and was allowed to continue working on RPC-376 a few days later.
Incident 376-3: Dr. █. ███████ continued to conduct another test upon cleared to work after 9 days of isolation. However, the moment RPC-376-Alpha ignited, Dr. █. ███████ proceed to run to the testing chamber and set his left arm on fire. He held a wrench and threatened anyone that approaches. Despite resisting and causing one ASF personnel stationed to be mildly injured, He managed to be stopped.

Foreword: This interview was conducted shortly after the incident to understand the motivation behind Dr. █. ███████'s action

Dr. Van Gordon: Alright, it’s on. Now, what the hell happened to you? We spent 5 days reassuring you're fine and in stable condition. You keep saying that you’re fine. Now, look at you.
Dr. █. ███████: I can't bear it, Houston! Eight days of pain! This is my cure!
Dr. Van Gordon: Eight days of- Wait, that burn scar? Didn't you bite your finger to stop it?
Dr. █. ███████: It didn't work! The pain remains. That's when I realized that fire is my only solution.
Dr. Van Gordon: Damn it, so you did fool me that time.
Dr. █. ███████: You need to understand me, Houston. I need fire.
Dr. Van Gordon: The only thing that I understand is that you will be designated as RPC-376-3.
Dr. █. ███████: You can't do that! I- I have an idea! I'll conduct the research for the last time. I'm the leading researcher of this project from the start, so let me finish this research myself! I'll be the test subject! I will be giving you full reports of my experience of the exposure! Just one more. For the sake of me- No, for the sake of this RPC! Research, Houston! That's one of the Authority's mottoes if I remember correctly!
Dr. Van Gordon: Heh, we can use test subjects for that matter, doctor. Even I find myself competent to take over your research. Now, guard, please take him to one of the empty RPC-376 containment chambers.
Dr. █. ███████: No, no. Hold on, just a lighter! I’ll give you anything! All the classified information I knew as the lead researcher of many RPC I’ve worked on! You and your two fellow guards must be really interested in these!
Dr. Van Gordon: Wait, hold on-
Dr. █. ███████: I’ll start with RPC-█-
Dr. Van Gordon: Stop-

Closing Statement: "Dr. █. ███████ has been terminated due to attempting to recite several strings of info hazard. Guards have been amnestificated, as they're affected by it. Further tests are suspended, for now, but if the site Director allow, it will be conducted again to understand more of RPC-376’s nature.
