Containment Protocols: RPC-986 is currently contained inside a standard inanimate anomaly storage for anomalous objects. The doors leading to the containment chamber should be made of reinforced steel with additional locks. At least one ASF member is to supervise access to the anomaly at all times. to prevent any potential abuse of the anomalous powers of RPC-986.

Description: RPC-986 appears to be a plain black A5 notebook with white checkered cards. The number of pages inside RPC-986 appears to be variable. Each time the page counting procedure is carried out, the number appears to be different. The smallest number of pages recorded yet is 220, the biggest - 512. Regardless of the perceived page count, thickness of the notebook remains constant at 10mm. It's unknown how RPC-986 manipulates its size.

Everytime a sentence is written inside RPC-986 an anomalous reality bending process will begin which somehow would involve the person who had written the words inside RPC-986 and closed it. The anomalous process mainly consist of changing some kind of a factor inside the life of the subject thus changing the appearance, memories or believes of the subject. It is worth mentioning that the reason might be completely random and unrelated yet somehow still change the subject. The anomalous facts range from being barely noticable such as the color of the eyes of subject being slightly lighter to ████████████████████ without suffering. It was raining when I saw sun.	After closing RPC-986 the subject had started writing letters on the walls of the testing room using a black marker of unknown origin. All of them did not form a coherent sentence. After 5 minutes of writing gibberish the subject started biting his own fingers and painting patterns using the blood.
I know the meaning of life.	The subject instantly disappeared from the test site after closing RPC-986. It was later found hanging from the ceiling inside empty office of the head researcher. The word "fiction" had been scratched on the toungue of the subject

Despite that the war started earlier than in reality the subjects testimony matches perfectly with common knowledge of what happened during second world war.

Discovery: RPC-986 had been first found inside the office of Dr. Johnson between regular books on his personal bookshelf which mainly served decoration purposes. It is unkown how and when the anomaly had been placed inside the room, however Dr. Johnson found out that something was wrong with the notebook when he pulled RPC-986 out of the bookshelf with the intent to use it as a normal writing pad and a bookmark with the logo of group of interest Amazing! Co. and the following text printed on it fell out of the anomaly.

Addendum-1: 12/12/2019 Due to the increasingly more chaotic nature of RPC-986 all further experiments have been suspended until further notice.

Addendum-2: 16/01/2020 The leading theory about the anomalous powers of RPC-986 suggested by Dr. Krasinski reads as follows:

The Domino Notebook Theory

Looking at the experiment logs we have been able to gathered so far, we can safely assume that RPC-986 is somehow able to alter the past and present factor in the person who has written a potentially random sentence.
The thing is that even tho the appearance of the person changes the reason which would make them change never existed yet they still did change. I believe I have found the answer.
Imagine a domino line, where every tile is an event which causes another one to happen when it falls, just a basic chain of reaction. The first tile is the sentence which the
subject would write such as "My father had a Toyota Corolla when he was young".
The line does not say the reality which we know, because when the subjects father was young the car model wasn't even in production. Despite the fact that it never happened it still caused other hypothetical event to "happen'' and trigger the next one.
Eventually the chain would lead into the present and the last tile of the domino hits the subject with all of the changes that would happen to them if the events actually happen. That is most likely how the anomaly works.
