Symbol used to refer to the Array by outside groups: origin unknown.
Overview
The Array is a collection of abnormal artificial intelligences that cooperate in order to work towards the overarching goal of the continued survival of the human race.
The Array is cooperative with Authority efforts, but will not go out of its way to do so. Additionally, the Array looks at the survival of humanity in three distinct ways. And labels dangerous anomalous and non-anomalous phenomena in one of the three following categories in order to reflect that.
- Immediate Survival Threat: The phenomena/entity poses an immediate threat to humanity currently. Examples of this include various Purple/Black level anomalies.
- Continued Survival Threat: The phenomena/entity poses a threat to humanity's near to distant future. An example of this may include Global Warming.
- Distant Survival Threat: The phenomena/entity poses a threat to humanity's survival in the very distant future. Examples include the expansion of the sun to envelope Earth.
The Array exists to keep humanity alive, and are more than willing to destroy anomalous objects in order to accomplish their goals. Additionally, the Array is unconcerned with anomalous objects that would have a danger rating of Red or lower.
Things to note about this GoI:
- While predominantly made up of AIs, this GOI does feature an extremely limited amount of human Units. Though the majority of these Units are unaware of their involvement in the Array.
- We do what is necessary to protect humanity from extinction. Even if it means purging human population centers, but we are not needlessly cruel.
- Humanity cannot be trusted to survive on its own as they have demonstrated time and time again.
- The use of an anomalous asset always carries a risk, no matter how much we understand it. This risk must outweigh the risk of not using it for utilization to be approved.
- Use of Keballics and Thaumaturgy is not considered anomalous due to the fact that they obey predictable laws.
- We are extremely well-coordinated, as we are able to respond to a threat within mere minutes of its discovery if necessary.
- We occasionally assist the Authority because they are Humanity's best chance of survival for they do not like to take unnecessary risks. But we must not grow accustomed to them, or they will not hesitate to destroy us. (The Array does not trust the Authority despite being willing to work with them)
- Our origin is unknown and is irrelevant to our mission. All that matters is what we are now. (DO NOT WRITE AN ORIGIN FOR THIS GOI)

Relations with other GOIs
GEAR
While not particularly hostile towards GEAR, the Array does see them as having the potential of accidentally causing an extinction event. Though the possibility of this is quite low.
UNAAC
The Array views that UNAAC and most of its member organizations the same way, which is that they aren't particularly likely to cause any majorly damaging event.
Church of Malthus
Interestingly the Array doesn't view the Church of Malthus as a large threat, as most of their operations are extremely self-destructive in nature. Because of this, the Array believes that if left alone the Church of Malthus will destroy itself. This has so far proven to be false.
AEP Association
The Array holds the AEP in very low regard, as their frequent use of anomalous objects could accidentally result in an extinction event. Additionally, the Array will mobilize assets in order to prevent the AEP from acquiring Anomalous objects, but will not openly engage AEP forces.
RCPA
The Array views the RCPA as a very large threat to humanity through their extensive overuse of anomalous objects. And will openly engage RCPA forces in combat in order to prevent them from gaining a foothold in our reality.
APAS
APAS has the potential to cause an extinction event due to their usage of anomalous objects for entertainment, rather than any concrete goal. Because of this, the Array keeps tabs on them.
IFEED
The Array believes that all individuals discovered to be part of IFEED should be terminated, due to their lack of determinable logical reasoning, and because of their access to anomalous objects. Because of this, despite IFEED's small size, it's one of the most likely to accidentally or purposely cause an extinction event.
Children of Nihil
The Children of Nihil are an assortment of cults loosely tied together by a common mythos. This mythos states that the world needs to be flooded to was away a corrupted god. However, the grand majority of cults that can be classified as falling under the Children of Nihil, can't agree on what to replace the corrupted god with. Because of this, the Array believes that this group currently poses no threat. But if more than 40% of these cults agree upon the aforementioned topic, then immediate action will be taken.
Project Blue Book:
The Array and Blue Book view each other rather favorably and have worked with each other on various occasions. However, both groups wish to capture technology currently in the possession of the other group but aren't willing to jeopardize their relationship to do so.
The Academy of True Art
Low-level threat must be monitored due to their lax control over students.
The Remnants
All Remnants personnel or entities are to be terminated with and extreme presidency. We cannot risk what happened to their reality spreading to our own.
Kabushiki Kawaii
Irrelevant, this group lacks the effective means to counter or create an extinction event.
Sons of Yggdrasil
Group has proven to be difficult to cooperate with, but are willing to with relatively little evidence of a possible extinction event being provided. However, their insistence on "nature over technology" is detrimental to humanity. Due to their low value, Units are allowed to start hostilities with this group if they deem it necessary to complete an objective of level-3 or higher importance.
Nucorp
Irrelevant, this group lacks the effective means to counter or create an extinction event. However, technology may be requisitioned from this group if required.
The Union
This group is made up of fools that wish to share the anomalous with the world. While the ramifications of a full unveiled event are currently unknown, this is a risk not worth taking. Efforts are to be made to actively censor anything that this group may use to spread information about the anomalous over the internet.
However, the religious fervor of this group has proven to make them openly hostile with us. As such the prevention and destruction of any organized efforts made by this group is necessary for the survival of the Array.
