The Descendants of Yggdrasil is an organization based in the northern regions of Europe; Although the organization has known to operate outside of these boundaries.
They are specialized in research and developing botanical and environmental anomalies. The organization's means of income is currently unknown, however, it is widely believed that they are funded by other docile Groups of Interest such as the Academy of True Art and G.E.A.R. in exchange for service.
The Descendants of Yggdrasil and associated anomalies are usually benevolent in nature and will not harm any individuals or organizations that have not violated their moral code. They have frequently engaged with the RCPA and other hostile forces.
The Descendants maintain a positive relationship with the Authority, however, there has been some contention regarding the containment of botanical anomalies. They reside in underground fortifications known as Evergreens. All inhabitants have a designated occupation and are assigned to work on projects appropriate for their skill set such as agriculture, innovation and anomaly containment. Furthermore, the Descendants also maintain an active militia composed primarily of scout forces. Military officials are trained in the art of biomancy and maintain constant contact with each other.
Rules for writing for this GoI:
- The anomalies need to be botanical/plant based or related.
- SoY is not a particularly hostile GoI, and will rarely if ever, take any action towards other GoIs.
- SoY aims at trying to establish a complete mutualistic relationship between Plants and Animals, so focus on the current relationship between Humans and Nature would be good.
- SoY uses both Anomalous and Technological means to their advance, but make more use out of the anomalous than technology, meaning there's a chance for some things to go wrong.
- If you want to make a "deadly" anomaly relating to this GoI, do it but you need to make it with context as to why the descendants created it.
- They're on fine terms with the Authority but object their containment of Plant-based RPCs.
What is an Evergreen and places where the SoY lives/tests/storage anomalies:
Headquarter = Evergreen, they are like the HQ of a large continent or piece of land
Site = Redwood, a place that works to test and create SoY anomalies, they are usually well hidden or protected
Outpost = Shrubbery, they are for observation of large anomalies or anomalies that are deemed dangerous to contain in a regular Redwood
