Description: RPC-957 is a children’s TV series broadcast from an unknown source, titled “Uncle Sparky’s House of Fun.” Viewers under the age of six are generally unaffected by it in most cases, but those older than six will suffer a number of harmful effects, including:
- Nightmares
- Intrusive thoughts relating to death or self-harm
- Auditory and visual hallucinations
- Nyctophobia
In some extreme cases, viewers of RPC-957 have developed debilitating mental disorders, including paranoid schizophrenia. These effects are lessened, or even outright subjects which already suffer from similar disorders
RPC-957-1 serves as the host of RPC-957. Physical descriptions of RPC-957-1 are inconsistent in all but the vaguest terms, but do agree in presenting it as a male humanoid typically dressed in semi-formal clothing such as a sweater and slacks. RPC-957-1 displays a friendly, easygoing manner, and hosts the show by instructing children in various activities such as arts and crafts projects, animal care, and reading of picture books.
RPC-957-1 is assisted by three apparently normal humans, designated RPC-957-2 through -4.
RPC-957-2 is an unidentified European female who speaks with a French accent and who RPC-957-1 usually relies on for explaining various physical activities, including exercise and outdoor games such as Red Rover.
RPC-957-3 has been tentatively identified as Michael Wiznewski, previously a Person of Interest to the Authority due to his connections with various occultist groups; he disappeared in 1987, before RPC-957 began broadcasting for the first time.
